I had a hankering for Fish & Chips, which is part of my DNA,as it was a staple of my diet growing up in the UK. I normally get my fix in pubs around Montreal, but due to inaccessibility caused by the Orange Cones fiasco we ventured to La Prairie.Definitely worth driving the extra unimpeded miles. The restaurant had a family friendly atmosphere, which enhance the experience.I will definitely go again and bring some of my friends next time.
What a great concept: only serving tartare. Our server Kim was fabulous. She explained the menu, the specials and made some suggestions. My beef tartare poke bowl was delicious and the portion was very generous. Fresh lettuce and sliced radish. Rice cooked just right. They bring you a sauce that has a hint of sambal oelek and a schiracha sauce. The decor is bright, modern and cheerful. I definitely recommend and will be back!

Enjoyed a business lunch this past week at Cru. Oysters are heavily featured. I opted for the salmon tartare that was very enjoyable. The restaurant is a little pricey but the food is high quality. Service was friendly but not over the top.
