If you like ceviche and tiradito, this place is awesome. Authentic ceviche, at least 10 kinds. The ceviche and tiradito was awesome. Risotto was perfect. Very friendly people. Service was pretty good. Wine list was very good, wines by the glass less so. Pretty small place, so call for a reservation if you want a seat. Kids menu limited, but they have one and accommodate you. Well worth the trip.

We walked around to Whiskey Joes after our meal at The Rusty Pelican. The bar has loads of character and whilst it wasn't so busy at the time we were there I can imagine that the atmosphere is electric when the bar is full. Great place with good location and views.

We drove 25 miles to eat based on friends recommendations. Very worth the trip. My companion had the lobster Ravioli and I started with the meat ball which was large, served with a gorgeous scoop of the best ricotta cheese I have had and a beautiful sauce. I then had the broccoli rabe sausage orecchiette which was great. They are only open from 5pm to 10pm but certainly worth the trip

We had a wonderful meal tonight celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. Our server, Daniel, was kind enough to congratulate us and served a beautiful dessert on the house. He made us feel special. This restaurant is part of the Ritz-Carlton and is located with a perfect view of the ocean. We ate outside and enjoyed it tremendously.

We started with excellent pisco sours, followed by calamari chicharrones, mussles, & several rices. The octopus strips are also excellent. Service was excellent, quick & very friendly. Itâs a small place with some outdoor seating as well. This is a very good choice if youâre in Key Biscayne. Weâll return.

I'd been at the Rusty many years ago when it was mainly a wooden building. The place was refurbished about 10 years ago and now its modern, with an impressive wine cellar and a spectacular view in most of the tables you will sit at. The experience ends there. The ceviche looked and tasted bland and our salads were doused in dressing to an exagerated degree. It gets a three stars for the view, but only two for the food. A place that grew old and rusted and has been unable to keep up with the culinary times.

This is an expensive restaurant. The atmosphere is nice. Service was efficient: they did not maje a fuss but dishes came out promptly. The grilled octopus was a disappointment: we wonât be ordering it again. The skirt steak was ok, but not memorable. The braised veal cutlet in a lemony & capers sauce was very tasty and nicely fixed up, although I wondered whether the actual meat may have originally been frozen because it was not tops. In spite of that I would consider reordering it when I return. I highly recommend their risotto (a side order): very tasty and perfect texture. So, you will eat well at this restaurant, and I very much liked the size of their portions but if you are interested in a real culinary treat, choose carefully because some of it will not measure up.Dear Mr Debrigard,I'd like to comment about your impressions as we strive for a five star experience and our food is the highlight of it; the products that we acquire are of the highest quality available in the Miami area; everything gets prepared to order and since we are only humans, there will eventually be a flaw. We serve "Certified Black Angus" skirt steak which and along with the octopus and the veal scallops are some of our highest selling items, so if you had mention any of these facts during your visit, this would have given us the chance to fix it right on the spot and ensure that you walked out extremely happy and not with mixed feelings of us. If you'd like to further this conversation, please write to us at [email protected], where I will personally address the issues in the hopes that you'll give us another chance as your comments are taken very seriously by us!In anyway, we are grateful for your visit, the feedback and thank you for the review of our restaurant.Respectfully yours,Antonio BraschiProprietor

We love Spanish food. This is a quaint family-owned place offering excellent and healthy Catalan cuisine at reasonable prices. We recommend the thick lentil soup and the rice (risotto style) with shrimps and squid ink, both excellent. José and his wife Ester were perfect hosts and made us feel at home. A funny story: my wife saw a picture of the restaurant and suggested we reserve a table with an ocean view. However, she was actually looking at a painting they have on the wall of the restaurant. Please note that there is NO ocean view, but we do recommend the excellent food and atmosphere.
