Things to do in Kavos
In our restaurant you will enjoy a wide variety of traditional dishes, such as bourdeto, pastitsada (traditional pasta cooked in a pot over fire), and also meat dishes and fresh fish and seafood.
We have visited this lovely restaurant twice in a week time. We haven't even stayed in the neighbourhood, but came along by chance... and we liked the food and staff so much that we did it again a few days later.Next to the usual items they were really good Stifado and Kokinisto. Delicious! Great and friendly staff and perfect location on the river bank. Very much recommended.

We had a family lunch here. We intentionally picked seafood dishes like red mussels, gilthead and sole fish. Well, everything was incredibly delicious, perfectly prepared and served. The fish were grilled on wood to perfection, the mussels were fresh and tasty. We even got free Panna Cotta's afterwards. Service was attentive and fast. On top of the great food, the place itself is a charming little gem with a gorgeous view to the sea. You can sit outside under large trees and listen to the constant chirping of cicadas. The restaurant is run as a family business and this has a positive impact on everything they do. Prices are also very modest for what you get. Highly recommended!

By the beach nice friendly atmosphere fresh fish and low prices. You can watch the sunset while eating a nice meal
After trying Greek food all over the Corfu, we found this taverna on a beautiful beach Gardenos. Domestic atmosphere, easygoing...First we liked prices which were a bit smaller than elsewhere on the island. Then the waitress was very honest about what they have fresh. As we stayed a bit hungry on the other places, here we ordered starters eggplant salad and some spicy cheese dip. That was enough for eat, so we were wondering how will we eat the main dish.As they didn't have octopus, I ordered grilled cuttlefish and my partner some beef in tomato sauce. 2 beers big and small. Here was the bread included in price as well as french fries what is not everywhere the case.We know something about fish and good homemade food but we were really kindly surprised. Everything was better than we expected. Definitely recommend this place. Advice to come early enough because people here eat lunch so later fish might me gone.

Although we have visited Corfu on many occasions we seldom venture to the south of the island but having read such favourable reports we travelled down one afternoon in early May.Obviously the place was pretty quiet but what would you expect. The deep fried egg plant was gorgeous helped down with freshest of bread and shatteringly good home made tszicki(badly spelt)Main of pork souvlaki was so tasty and tender and the chips made from home grown produce and oil were honestly the best ever tasted.Value wise we found it well worth it and finished off a lovely afternoon with a walk along the beach and alongside the moored fishing boats.Greek salad also worthy of comment-fantastically fresh.Hope to return later this year -it will be a must do if we are lucky enough to return
Great fresh fruit smoothies and snacks, free WiFi, authentic Greek garden ambience, perfect sandy beach, warm Greek hospitality.

We went to visit on a Saturday evening in September. The taverna wasn't too crowded, the service was friendly and helpful, the food was good and the local wine was really nice.I would definitely recommend the calamari, they were fantastic. They looked so tasty I ate them before even thinking of taking a photo. There are plenty of tables to choose from, you can have a table with a seaview. The taverna also has some sunloungers on the beach, but we haven't tried them.If you're in the area of St. Peter's beach, it's worth stopping here for lunch or dinner.

Finding Florida was a god send for us. Having booked Kavos for a family (we had twin babies), we were shocked to find most of the town catering for drunk teenagers.Florida is class of its own. a lovely little all day (breakfast/lunch/dinner/coffee/drinks) family run cafe on the beach. Nice food and free beach chairs for customers on a nice quiet part of the beach. We went there most days as really liked the family that run it and they had clearly made an effort to make this a more upmarket family friendly place but you could still get a beer or cocktail if you desired and watch the sun set to mellow music. For me, it was the best thing about Kavos hands down.

On the beach
Great location and nearby to local sunbeds to rent at 5 euros. My boyfriend had a breakfast which was good and I had beans on toast which was nice to be able to get! Bread wasnât great but think thatâs more of a Greece thing rather than the restaurant. We used this as a base for the day for drinks which were reasonably priced. Polite staff and seemed popular throughout the day despite it being September.

An oasis of peace in the village of Kavos, situated in a location like no other restaurant in the resort, being the only restaurant on the beach, serving a variety of local dishes and fish and seafood, something which has always been a specialty of the bu
This was our most enjoyable meal in Kavos. The food was good (prawn & mussel linguine is lovely) and the house wine was also nice.Think it was the longest Iâve ever sat in a restaurant after Iâve eaten, as the atmosphere is so lovely there & the staff are attentive. We were just happy to sit & drink our wine & watch the waves rolling in.

After eating a lot of very questionable food in Kavos, Falconera was the only restaurant that left us wanting more. The service was lovely - with complimentary bread + hummus as well as a cheesecake dessert. Our starters were incredible - especially the fried cheese with honey and sesame! The carbonara and pastisada mains had a very generous serving as well as being packed full with flavour. Falconera is probably the only reason I would ever return to Kavos!
