Excellent fresh fish in a fantastic place where the owner has been able to create a unique environment where food and dances mixing together!Good list of wine but really , all dishes are focalized on fish including traditional greek specialitiesSatisfactory prices.

The older waiter here seemed impatient as we tried to find out more about our dinner options. We wanted to know whether the mixed fresh fish plate included vegetables but he got annoyed with my questions. Apart from this misunderstanding the meal was very good. We had some olives followed by the fish plate and a Greek salad. With the bread supplied, this was enough for both of us. The fish was excellent even if a bit boney (canât blame them for that). An excellent dinner.

Very late service!! Very unfriendly! And also very expensive! 12 euros for calamari of 6 pieces and fries sold separately. Food nothing special!!

Worse meal ever. Kleftico that was NOT Kleftico. Cold lamb with rice and chips disgusting. Moussaka was frozen even though we waited 35 minutes for our food. The friendly guy turned nasty when we complained. Absolutely shocking do not be lured by his patter and the turtles. Never again.

We went there because our favourite cafe spot owner, Nicos from Meltemi recommended us. I picked the most expensive fish because dinner was the main reason to visit Meis that day for me because we have visited many times before. Picked the biggest bottle of Barbayanni raki and many mezzes. The owner is Savvas a very nice person but we usually don't go to restaurants and pay â¬180 for the nice personality! The fish wasn't cooked enough and I didn't understand WHY they open the fish after grilling it, it got cold in 5 min.on that windy seaside table. The waitress didn't speak English but she was okay at least she was trying her best. We really wanted to have food fest but I think we picked the wrong place. When the time was for the bill to pay we faced with biggest surprise I have been told that no credit card accepted while coffee shops accepts credit card for â¬10. Think about it you are on holiday and the restaurant owner expects you to pay â¬180 in cash and showing me where the ATM machine is, how rude and unprifessional it is. The grilled squid and octopus was good but the couldn't cook and serve the whole biggest and most expensive fish!It was the first and last time we have tried a different restaurant than Lazarakis but I don't think we will gamble with our gastronomical future and pay a high price again.

Mandraki Seafood Ostraka
Nikos and staff know how to treat their customers royally. We returned to Mandraki Seafood night after night. We loved the atmosphere and got initiated in eating ostraka personally fished by the owner. The fish was delicious and the stuffed calamari was the best I've had. Nikos' hospitality extends to the sea turtle that has made Mandraki his home and makes frequent appearances. The prices are most reasonable and make Mandraki Seafood the best value. We cannot wait to be back--Thank you Niko!

We went inside and asked to be served drinks. The manager very rudely told us, I am a restaurant." So, we left to spend our money elsewhere. Now we know why it was half-empty in there. It's all because of Basil Fawlty, the manager.Take our tip and avoid the bad-tempered clown running this restaurant. He has no idea how to speak to visitors. We went further along the quay to the Faros bar right at the end, and got a warm welcome. Also a positive experience was Billy's fish restaurant nearby on the same side of the quay.

Visited this restaurant on the basis of the great reviews. Not disappointed as the food, wine and service was totally reminiscent of Greek hospitality from my island hopping in the â70âs. We ordered excellent dolmades, courgette pie, garlic bread, aubergine bake and the ubiquitous Greek salad. All superb. We were full as the portions were beyond small plate. After a pause we went onto grilled octopus, the best I have tasted served with baked onions. The stuffed squid was less successful and the flavours didnât really work for us. Waterside table, enchanting setting, great food and service what not to like. Note itâs cash only.
