Excellent choice on Hel peninsula for local cuisine , all kind of fishes in particular including herrings, cod , halibut & fladra ;-)By the road , with convenient parking, outside and inside tables. Self service/ ordering , plastic dishes do not discourage me to come back. But do not expect fish delight here :-)

Had I written a year ago that Urwis House was the best restaurant in Jastarnia? They still are. Delicious food, great service (absolutelly perfect with extraordinary understanding for childrens" behaviour :-) . Menu with many vegetarian dishes. High value of used products. I firmly keep my strong recomendation for this place.

If you are in this area i definitely recomend you to try any fish dish. This restaurant serves mainly typical kashubian food and they are all about fish! Yum. You should also try one (or more) of the regional bottled beers, they are all good ( Koźlak, Pseniczniak...). In the restaurant is half self service, you must get your own menu and then order at the bar, but they do speak english. I ordered fishermans dish - fish with onion and bread and it was simple and delicious!
