The place is easy to miss as it is not directly on the promenade of the city, as many other restaurants. However, if you deviate slightly from the promenade you will be more than compensated by the excellent quality food offered by "Palia Istoria". The appetizers we had ("greens" and "fava") were very delicious as was the fresh fish. The owner is a very pleasant and kind person who guided us very helpfully through the options. A must go if you happen to be around!

We visited this place several times. One of the most good cooked seafood plates is here. The same big portions like as everywhere in Loutraki restaurants.

Have brought many of my customers to Alkionides taverna after visiting Kechries port or anc.Corinth.This place is a hidden gem by the water of Loutra Oreas Elenis where you are enjoying lunch or dinner literally by the sea!Very authentic ambience, great seafood (fish is always fresh) and more (potato salad and boiled vegetable salads are delicious) together with the calamari and grilled octopus.Just be a little patient with the service because this place can pack out!Waiters are always running around and trying to preserve a smile (hard work).Overall a great place even for a romantic evening listening to the tiny waves! :-)

Really really disappointed: good location, bad service. Fresh products, bad cooked. We took a dolmadakia (really good), Risotto with 3 cereals (it was really sweet) and a fish with wild greens. On the menu, instead of other fishes, this was described with no sauce but it came fully fully covered on top and on the bottom (both fish and wild greens) of a white sauce. I asked explanation to the waiter since Iâm allergic to many ingredients and this sauce was not in the menu; he could not speak very well in english and was really rude: it brought me back the same fish just without the bottom of sauce. After another fight and after 30 minutes he brought me back in a ruder way a grilled fish but instead of wild greens it had peppers (that I do not eat) and another sauce again (yellow this time). So I stopped fighting and I tried to eat the part without. At the end we wanted to order a dessert but the same waiter started cleaning up in a very brutal way, we had no time to finish the water and we understood it was better to leave.Too expensive and too pretentious for what it offers: we paid 55 euro to eat nothing and without ordering wine or desserts.Waiters are brutal and I felt offended. There are better places in Loutraki and less expensive, my advice is to go to this place just to drink and enjoy the location.

This is probably the best restaurant weâve eaten at during our two weeks in Greece. We are always looking for fresh fish and this beautiful restaurant right on the water in downtown Corinth is perfect! Very very reasonable prices for many different species of fish taken right out of the Corinthian Bay. Excellent service to boot! itâs a must go for seafood lovers.

We know we should avoid restaurants in front of the sea, anyway we tried it as it was quite well evaluated on trip advisor. Tuna salad and eggplant salad were filled with industrial mayonnaise. Waiter was kind of nice but the food was really below everything we ate in Greece all around Peloponese, even 2⬠pitas in anonymous restaurants.

''The Garden'' is a restaurant with a beautiful view next to the sea. The kitchen provides fresh fish and seafood but also traditional cooked dishes and plenty of others. Its an ideal summer destination because you can combine your time in the beach with
Amazing garden location, with still more amazing view on the sea. Great sunset in first position available than. Table with fair distance each other, to be able to talk with no interference of the other tables around. Service charming: all young guys doing their genuine best to make guests feel ok. And they achieved it, smiling all time too. Price all right, reasonable for the area. No dessert avaible, but they bring a great watermelon. We liked all what they bringed to us, and we would be pleased to come back again if passing by in the future.Â

The restaurant is at the great location ~ the east (S) entrance of the Corinth Canal. There is the submergible bridge nearby, that goes down (9 meters to the bottom of channel)every time some vessel enters the canal. The terrace of the restaurant is just there. We had a seafood combo plate, and 1/2 kilo of their house wine, all very tasty. Their sardines were excellent, crispy baked like a french-fries. We had a good time eating and watching the ships.

Had a delicious dinner (two couples) at Kavos. Perfect in every sense - friendly and competent advice regarding choice of fish, tasty starters (Greek salad, Tsatsiki, White taohama etc), wonderfully tasty spaghetti with shrimp and black grouper with grilled vegetables.A recommendation without any "but" - including reasonable value for money (140 for a party of 4 incl wine)
