After fairybread and cake at a 1st birthday party we decided to have dinner in an unfamiliar location. We chose the St George Motor Boat Club primarily because of its location. We enjoyed drinks while watching a sunset overlooking the Marina on the Georges River. Afterwards we adjourned to their in house restaurant: The Edge.Entrees of calamari and baby squid were followed by Angus Burgers and a half serve of ribs. Delicious.

Great live seafood at good prices for Sydney. Place is out of the way for tourist. I was brought here by locals. You can reach here by taking the train to Beverly Hill station. It is just two blocks from the tube station. Service is acceptable and is more than makes up by the excellent cooking. Just do not expect North America prices. It is easily 50% more expensive.

Hidden away in Penshurst, this family run restaurant is a gem. Service is lovely, food is great. Well priced and DELICIOUS lobster every time. Some food may not be eye catching on the plate but definitely makes the taste buds happy. Just a lovely family local business.

Restaurant Is Open To The Public
I was treated to a dinner here for out first Fatherâs Day with the little man. This is an all you can eat seafood buffet. There is more than just seafood, just about something to cater for all tastes. As for the seafood, it is fantastic. There are cooked prawns, bugs, oysters, muscles, crab and even some salmon. All fresh and in abundance. There is a hot food area for some Singapore Crab and Lobster. The dessert table is cram packed with numerous sugary delights as well as ice cream. There is also tea and coffee and drinks to order.Just fantastic and would go back in a heartbeat. Dear Andrew M,Thank you dearly for this amazing review! We are so ecstatic that you were able to enjoy such a special occasion with your little man. We do have buffet nights running all throughout the week aside from Tuesday and Wednesday - and we would love to host you back for another visit. We appreciate your thoughts and are looking forward to having you again sometime soon.Best Regards,Leong YeohRestaurant and Bar Manager
Absolutely loved every dish we ordered! We started with Caprese Skewers and bruschetta on homemade bread...yummo! Grilled Octopus was so tender and cooked to perfection. We ordered two pasta dishes from the menu but asked for both to be served with Napoletana sauce instead of what was on the menu, without any hesitation our request was no problem at all. We are so happy to see Chef Sam back in the kitchen, you gotta know that a pumping restaurant mid week is always a great sign of happy customers! We can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu...oh and for dessert we had a crema cafe...THERE ARE NO WORDS!!!

I have been a customer of Something Fishy in Penshurst since they first opened their doors. The customer service is always outstanding and all the staff are extremely friendly. Their food is always fresh and cooked well inclusive of the burgers which is good if you have non-Seafood eaters in the family. They do get quite busy, but they take phone orders which is great so you can avoid waiting for a long time.

The food was the standout here. Beautifully presented and tasting delicious! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was very pretty, with choice of bar seating or standard table. Lounges also available to have a cocktail or two. Only negative I had was the noise. Saturday night so understandably packed tables but hard to hold a conversation for long. Don't go if you want an intimate, romantic date. Or try a week night!

Took family and OâSeas visitors for lunch and again wasnât disappointed. Food is fresh and delicious and only surpassed by the service. I wish other restaurants in the St George/ Shire could even come close to the service standards here. The view on the river is beautiful and peaceful the ambiance is very intimate even though it is a large restaurant. I cannot praise this restaurant enough it is no wonder itâs been operating for so long.
