Ohne Frage 5 Sterne! Wir waren mehrere Wochen in dem zugehörigen Hotel Waldschlössel. Der Biergarten war jeden Tag mehr als gut besucht. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war unschlagbar. Bei den Hauptspeisen hat mich die Lammkeule begeistert. Geschmack fantastisch. Auch die Steaks oder der Fisch sucht seinesgleichen. Erste Wahl in der Gegend.

The restaurant is very conveniently located at a small fishing lake just outside of the town of Ketsch. The interior is, typically for the area, very simple: down-to-earth, nothing fancy but yet cosy. Since it is a speciality restaurant your focus should be primarily on fish. There are meat dishes on the menu, too, but why going to a fish restaurant if not for having fish? The portion sizes are generous, the quality of the dishes are very high, the service is quick, efficient and friendly.The prices (again considering the area the restaurant is located in) are a bit over the average. But it is good value for money and really worth a visit.

I like this restaurant very much , since fomer famous Michelin Star cook " Mr. Schoenmehl" now focuses on resonable priced countrysidecooking. Very busy! so better you reserve a table in advance. Excelent service, nice patio and very cool Bar. Parking unlimited and free of charge ven for very large carsClose to the US-army shooting range,, but no noise!
