I have lived in this area for most of my life and I am so happy I finally discovered Seaside Sushi Sake. They have the best sushi in the area (not just Herrsching but arguably in Starnberg too). Their fish is always very fresh and their food never disappoints.

Really good food with balanced tastes. Handmade sauces, classic recipes with a modern twist and attention to the detail. Both Mr. Savvas and Ms. Margia were very friendly and attentive. Being Greeks, apart from the high quality food, we appreciated the lack of kitschy "Greek" decoration.

There is a nice looking inside restaurant and a biergarten with food outside on the lake. I had casual meal/drinks outside. It was a lovely, sunny day and lake view was great. Beer, coffee, typical German lunch was just fine. They also serve have spare ribs. More formal dining in restaurant.

Ein Restaurant im herkömmlichen Sinn ist das hier nicht, eher ein Fischladen. Allerdings mitr selbst geräucherten Fischen, zum Mitnehmen wie zum Vor-Ort-essen. Fischsemmeln und Fischteller gibt es, dazu selbst gemachten Kartoffelsalat und ein Glas Wein oder ein Bier. Ein schönes Platzchen direkt an der Promenade.Montags geschlossen, an schönen Tagen sehr voll, man muss Zeit zum Anstehen mitbringen und um 18 Uhr ist Feierabend.
