This company based in Carantec (Pointe de Pen-Al-Lann) produces a variety of oysters that are sold in the region, but can also be consumed on the spot. This is what we did with a few friends: we each chose our type of oysters, we bought a bottle of cold white wine from their fridge, we sat on a bench with a view on the Bay of Morlaix, and had the most delightful and tasteful little meal sitting in the sun. We also got a full briefing from the lady who runs the shop on oyster production - very interesting. Definitely worth the stop --- but check the times, they do have a break at lunch time (call 0298783068 or 0298670364).(I gather the company has a restaurant in nearby Lanillis -- we didn't try that.)

We were enjoying a fab holiday care of Brittany Ferries in a nearby holiday cottage. We had already decided to visit this establishment based on reviews and the recommendation of the owner of our holiday cottage. Yes you have to book (needed a weeks notice for lunch and no availability in the evening!) but by golly it was worth it. This place is beautifully located overlooking a fabulous beach. It serves up a lovely and genuine French experience and superb food with service to match. An outstanding offering and very reasonable prices. We had 3 courses with wine and drinks at c â¬140. Fantastic value. We were at the restaurant for 2 and a half hours and it was pure pleasure.

The area is a bit remote and not that many tourists (foreigners) are around. The company is having its own farm and they even present some pictures and artifacts about farming the oysters. You come here to buy or eat the oysters (totally fresh, you can see them in the special place inside. Additionally you can have pate (great), soup , cheese. Nice wine and cide. As we were staying in hotel Le Castel Arch (next door) we conveniently pop in here often . Highly recommended, nice view, nice service, nice atmosphere

Called here for lunch while staying at Des Abers nearby, had a beautiful Cassolet Fruits de Mer, and a nice wine, right by the main road which wasn't ideal but the food and service was great, dog friendly too which was a help.

This has been my favourite restaurant in the area for many years but seems to have changed since last year. The new chef has a fondness for curry powder but uses it well. The seafood "pot" is still as tasty as it alway was but noticably smaller! Oysters and salad starters were both good, and the duck main course was pretty tasty too. The cafe gourmand was certainly not as fancy as prior years but all the desserts were nice.Merci pour cette avis sur TripAdvisor. A bientôt toute l'Equipe de l'Auberge

The menus were quite good value, and it was nice to have pre dinner nibbles. My starter (mackerel and cauliflower)was great. The main was ok, but I was not keen on the creamy sauce. The desserts were well presented and delicious, and it was a nice touch to have petit fours, but there were far too many. The service was fine, but a bit formal and cold. The other thing we disliked was the music, it was not really appropriate for the type of restaurant.

Spécialités de poissons et fruits de mer. Maître restaurateur. Vue panoramique sur la baie de Brignogan. Service continu avec une carte de crêpes de 14H à 18h30 .
We wanted to go to a good seafood restaurant and this was close by and recommended. My wife and I had a shared Fruits de Mare platter which was gigantic and had loads of seafood including oysters, crab claw, langoustines, prawns, clams, winkles, etc. Served with warm fresh bread. My daughter went for meat and they were very agreeable to making a few tweaks to suit her taste. The service was charming. The waiter spoke little English but the waitress was able to fill in the gaps in my French vocabulary. Our table was by the window with the most stunning view of the bay as the tide receded and the sun set. They had a limited childrenâs menu but this is really a restaurant for adults.
