Best New England style clam chowder I have eaten in years. Perfect consistency with lots of clams and potatoes. Just wonderful on the rainy day when we visited recently. Also, even on a rainy day we loved the oceanfront dining area was covered and open to guests. We also had the "slumgullion" version of the same chowder with lots of Oregon Bay shrimp added. About $10 for a large portion that was delicious as well. Wish we had a Mo's in Texas! Location is awesome being at the end of the Historic Lewis & Clark Trail at at the turnabout in Seaside.

Sushi can be a little bit of a gamble in tourist towns, but we were very pleasantly surprised with both the quality and quantity of the food here, at some of the best prices we found in the area. The Ichiban roll was our favorite, but everything was great. Even the Shirley Temples my kids ordered arrived with a little extra flare.

Stopped for brunch and had the buffet. Scrambled eggs (powdered) with peppers, bacon, sausage, toast, oatmeal and muffins. Coffee, tea and juice for $8.95. Would have liked some fruit. Rather standard fair but reasonable price for a tourist-centric beach town. A group of 6 teenagers came in and wiped out most everything. Slow to replenish.Dear Lin,I am sorry we could not give you a 5 star experience. To clarify, our restaurant does not use powdered eggs. I apologize we did not replenish the buffet after it was "wiped out" by the teenagers. We do cook everything fresh and sometimes it will take a few minutes to prepare the next round of fresh buffet. The service was some of the worst I have had. The server took 10 minutes to come get our drink order by that time we were ready to order so we just ordered everything. The sou came out 5-7 minutes later then at about 20 minutes we got one of our 2 appetizers. Still no drinks and now our waters are empty. Had to flag the busser for water and ask for our drinks. Finally got our drinks and other appetizer about 5 minutes before our food. We had to get up and ask for extra napkins. When the food came out the manager I am assuming was one of the people delivering it not our server. But not one time did she ask how everything was. By this time it was clear we were unhappy with our server. We saw multiple people standing behind the wall or at the bar watching the game. The horrible service was not because they were under staffed or busy. Just lack of customer service. The food was great but if I am going to spend $200 for a meal I would hope to get good service. We wonât be back

Get the Scallops! or the Halibut or the Sirloin! On Vacation with my brothers family and at 7:30 on Fathers day they seated us a party of 8 (4 adults and 4 kids) immediately. Good selection of beer and all meals were delicous. new to the area we were extremely pleased with the service and the chef! Definetly a winner

Celebrated our anniversary in Seaside and Maggie's was recommended by our host. I enjoyed the outdoor dining area, accompanied by sunset over the Pacific. What's not to like? Our food was delicious and well presented, as well as fairly priced. Service was a little inconsistent, which seems to be a common opinion among other reviewers. At this price point I have higher expectations, but it isn't as if we didn't get our food and drinks. Plenty of options in Seaside but I didn't find another restaurant with an equal location, especially for outdoor dining.

Both of us ordered fish and chips from a variety of fish choices. Small orders are 4 pieces (7.5 oz total since I asked) with my wife ordering halibut and Ahi tuna for myself. Also had the choice of getting sweet potato fries instead of potato fries which was more in line with our eating desires.

Clean environment. Waitress was very helpful. Seafood was fried and a little overpriced for what it was but the portion size made up for the difference. There are other locations on this street that offer more of a variety and better seafood. If you are here with kids this might be a good location.
