Shrimp nachos for appetizers were delicious! I ordered the blackened shrimp and grits, it was yummy but I couldn't eat it all. My husband had the mixed seafood grill -- fun to try everything! Staff was very friendly! Busy place for a Thursday night.

The restaurant is more of Louisiana type of food. We went for lunch. They have lunch specials where you choose 2 for $10.99. I had catfish bites (they serve a lot) and a salad. They have club sandwiches, soups, salad, etc. The restaurant was spacious, bathrooms were clean, and plenty of free parking.

The Rouxpour is a New Orleans inspired restaurant with four locations in Houstonâs surrounding areas. Known for our delicious variety of chargrilled oysters, fresh seafood and inviting atmosphere you are sure to love being our guest.
We had an issue about happy hour wine but Trevor the manager took care of it immediately. He was professional and accommodating. Victoria was our server and she was appropriately friendly. Food is good and drinks are refreshing. Thanks Trevor for great problem solving skills and professional service.

After reading glowing reports about the Cajun food at this place, decided to try it for dinner. In short, it was not a pleasant experience. The boudin (appetizer) filling was mushy and seemed to be undercooked; the hush puppies were burned and tasted so; the catfish was overcooked; the red beans and rice were bland and had what appeared to be a quarter inch of cooking oil on top of them; and the gumbo was runny and lukewarm. The dining area consists of picnic tables, sitting on a loose pebble floor, in a covered but open and unscreened area cooled by several large fans. Consequently, flies were everywhere and kept landing on the food, utensils and our persons. Although this place might be OK for beer and crawfish in season, can't recommend it for anything else.

Friendly Folks Serious SeafoodVoted the Best Restaurant in Katy, TX by Katy Times Readers in 2013. Fish City Grill is as much a part of Katy as Katy is a part of FCG. It's a fun family dining experience not to be missed when visiting LaCenterra Market at
We recently stopped in for a late lunch and were able to take advantage of some Happy Hour drink specials. Several cocktails for $5 plus beer $3. While restaurant was not busy, the service was slow considering. We had a starter of fried calamari which came w/ 2 dipping sauces. For entrees we tried the honey chipolte tacos and the fish-n-chips. Overall, food was good but nothing remarkable. Pricey for lunch as the tab was about $50 for two people.Thank you for your feedback. It is great to hear that you were able to take advantage and enjoy our Happy Hour specials. We are sorry that the service that you received was not to your expectations. We hope that you will join us again so that we can provide a 5-starâ experience next time. Please email me at [email protected]
