We love going to this restaurant, the food is lovely, the restaurant is clean and comfortable and the staff are really friendly. They serve the standard chip shop menu which is always cooked to perfection, but there is the option to order grilled fish with salad.Thank you Sharon for your lovely feedback it is a pleasure to serve you. thank you for your visit. Traditional high quality fish and chips: Michael and Athena stared their family business in 1979. For close to 40 years they have been serving the highest quality, freshly cooked food. Eat in our family friendly restaurant or take it home with you.
I think I can say on behalf of the 3 groups of people who walked in just as they were closing. Invited us to take a seat and cooked allOur meals FRESH. amazing customer service. And as I write this still more people coming in. Well worth a visit. Family run restaurant and typical Cypriot hospitality.

I stopped for a take away on my way home from work. I ordered what I usually enjoy from a decent Thai restaurant. When I got home to eat it, I was very disappointed :( the Thai green curry was watery and not authentic tasting and the pad Thai noodles had a strange taste. I donât think I would return here again and wouldnât recommend.

We had a look to see where the best chip was in Clacton and Geoâs seemed to be the one. Itâs amazing value and the service is quick and efficient. My sister and I had a small sausage and chips each. The chips and sausage were both up there with the best Iâve had. Itâs honestly so cheap as well. I highly recommend going there if youâre looking for a chip shop, and not just settling for one you come across! Itâs right in the centre, a few minutes from the beach and has a square with benches to sit on across the road.

A very good Italian restaurant in Clacton. All food prepared and cooked on the premises. Plenty of seafood including lobster and sea bass. Staff extremely friendly and looked after us very well. Highly recommended.
Enjoyed dinner at Francoâs. dinner menu was on a blackboard and I thought fairly limited, however the food was very tasty. The chicken and porcini mushroom risotto was delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly. An ideal location for a special meal. Would return again if ever in Clacton.

The Golden Fillet never fails to impress. The fish and chips are always lovely and the portion sizes are certainly not skimpy. We go here for a takeaway and always phone ahead to place our order which I highly recommend as there are always queues out of the door.Staff are always friendly and I have never had a bad experience in all the years I have been going there. If you truly want the best fish and chips in the Clacton area then this is the place to go.

We were staying in Southend for the night as weâre going to my friendâs party so we had lunch here. We sat inside as it was very windy and we were served immediately by the friendliest waitress, she advised us of offers going and was very helpful. We had haddock and cod and chips. The portions were huge and looked and tasted delicious. We would definitely go back there and recommend.

The is a small Patisserie/Bakery/ Bistro (28 seats), serving full breakfasts, lunches and afternoon teas and weekend dinners. ALL the food is made on the premises. Specialist Patisserie/Cakes and Artisan Bread. Not suitable for small children
We recently visited for lunch having had mixed experiences at this restaurant in the past. Customer service was brusque. We ordered drinks and the waiter put the cups on the table holding the rims. Not very hygienic. The wrong order was brought but it was acceptable so we said it was ok as we didnât want to eat separately whilst the right order was produced. No apology only that they would check the ticket. The ticket was duly checked but still no apology. I presume they thought I ordered something I didnât want as they seemed to take no responsibility for their error. I was unable to eat more than a third as it was mainly mayonnaise. The waiter noticed that most of the food was uneaten. I explained why. The chef would be informed. No further comment. We paid and left, never to return.
