On a quiet Tuesday evening this was the dinner we needed. My wife and I had lots to discuss and the space provided a private atmosphere with great service and food. The wasabi crusted salmon was quite good, and the French dip had nicely crusted bread and tender meat. Portions were made it so I had no room for dessert. Hopefully next time.Eva was our server and she was super. Attentive, polite, and in no way pushing us along.A bit hard to get in and out of with the construction, but worth the extra turns.Recommend.

Jennifer G was the best waitress that we have had the whole three months vacationing in Palm Coast. We were so very impressed with her friendly and knowledgeable service. The food was excellent also! Yes, on vacation and another year later and another great experience at the Golden Lion. We were once again fortunate to have Amanda as our server. She is personable, professional and always smiling. The Golden Lion has to have the best Fried Coconut Shrimp in all of Flagler Beach, Palm Coast and beyond. Additionally, their Fish and Chip dinner is ginormos and excellent ! Bring a "to go" container because you will not finish it. Hit them up during their Happy Hour and enjoy oysters on the half shell, a great deal. We love this place, they never disappoint !Hey Joe! We are so glad you were able to come visit us again! And you are right, Amanda is always smiling! We will be sure to let her know you guys enjoyed your time at The Golden Lion with her. Can't wait to see you guys next year!

We stopped here for lunch with a group. The service was very good. The atmosphere is very casual being right across fro the beach. The selection of food was quite good. I had the burger special and it was served with homemade potato chips. Very happy with everything.

Once again headed to Flagler Fish Company for lunch as my wife wished to go there for her birthday. She had the Scallops, which were excellent, and I had the Split Pea soup, which was very good, and the hot peel and eat Colossal Shrimp which were just ok, as they were very tough. I don't know if they were overcooked or if that is just the way they are as they are so large, but next time I will try the local Shrimp peel and eat, as they are smaller and perhaps less tough. Overall though a very good visit.

Our first visit with family here. So many good things to say. Parking is good. Thereâs an elevator to the top deck. Slow but it works.Scenery is awesome, oceanfront!Menu is full of choices to suit everyoneâs taste. Thereâs fish, meat, salads, burgers. Had only been here once, long ago. We went tonight, busy but prompt service and great music. The food was excellent. I had the portobello tacos and they were wonderful. Husband had the burritos. He said they were good but too much cabbage. Friend had fish tacos and said they were good. Friend had a couple of pineapple mojitos and they were okay but they should have mulled the mint. And they were too expensive, $10 each. All in all it was a great night. Will return.

We have been here twice and enjoyed both visits. The building is old Florida with a warm and welcoming interior and staff. So far we have had the crab cakes with really good aioli sauce, New England clam chowder, shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad and house salad and all of them were really delicious. The raw clams were not a hit on the first visit and were the only disappointment in the seafood stew on the second. The grouper scampi and lasagna were great, the eggplant was good.Great service, fair prices, nice wine choices.We will be back!

We have been looking for "this" restaurant for two years. Since relocating here from Penna. we have been looking for just this restaurant. One with good service, friendly (almost family) atmosphere, great food, varied menu, prepared to perfection (you get what you pay for) and not over priced! Who could ask for more? We had two appetizers, the calamari and garlic octopus. Best calamari ever, tender and tasty and the octopus was so tender.....delicious, first time for octopus! I had the pork and little neck clams and my daughter made the roasted garlic octopus her meal...everything was yummy. Desert was "sawdust" (can't spell the Portuguese word for it), delish! We loved it and you will too. Try it and you will become regulars.
