Things to do in Figueira da Foz
Comemos o Bacalhau à Lagareiro e a Dourada.

We visited as a family, there was a great dj and we enjoyed a few drinks - they need a Portuguese beer on tap. The food we ordered was good, nothing too special but fine. The service was friendly and prompt. They have pigs ear on the menu - unfortunately sold out when we visited.

A hungry family of three was very pleased after leaving O Grazina. We had Enguias fritas, Lulas greladas and Bife vaca rosbife. Everything tasted very good. Not expensive and large portions!

We visited Figueira da Foz as the weather where we were staying was dull. We wanted to try fish as the town was near the sea, our waiter explained what was on the menu and didn't know the name of one fish. We decided to try it, and did not regret our decision. The bread and olives with the homemade tuna spread were delicious. The fish came with salad and boiled potatoes and was grilled. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and cleared our plates, we found out afterwards it was black swordfish. On checking this is scabbard fish and if we had seen it before it was cooked we might have steered away as it is a bit frightening and a little like an eel. It was delicious, and we both were glad of our choice, few bones and easy to eat. A fresh fruit salad completed our meal. Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant as the service was friendly and the view of the sea beautiful.

I highly recommend this restaurant as food is very good and well presented, services is nice and the environment is charming. We ate prawns with garlic, clams with garlic and coriander, mixed salad and sweetbread. Everything was delicious. The only thing that needs improvement is that they only have packaged French fries instead of boiled or the typical âo burro batatasâ. Reservation is recommend as there are very few tables.

Wonderful staff and great food! You can pick your own fish from the display. Itâs superbly cooked and beautifully presented. There are great wines and a small selection of beers. Dessert is varied in choices. Itâs a nice place without being overly fancy. You will feel comfortable dressed up or in casual wear. Itâs really a wonderful dining experience!

This restaurant offers a good variety of fish and seafood options. The starters are nice. However the dining room is small and slightly crowded and noisy. Reserve in advance in summer since you may have to wait for a table. Informal environment. A little pricey for the relative quality.

A family history, connected since its early ages to the catering industry and that, on 15 May 1976, inaugurated the restaurant âCaçarola 1â, on the side street of the Casino. This restaurant, managed by Graça Mortágua and her husband Alcino Mortágua, is a
The Caçarola restaurant has a number of positive things, including several options on the menu, fast service (even when the room is packed). But unfortunately, my experience wasn't the best. The dish we ordered was not exactly how we imagined it (we ordered a steak with sauce, but the sauce was a washed mix of butter and something else), and there was a small mix up with our order... which we are pretty sure was an issue with the service. The plates being served around us all seemed good, so maybe it was just a bit of bad luck.

Located in the middle of the sands of the Praia da Claridade in Figueira da Foz, the Areias de Sabores Restaurant is a cozy space where tradition and modernity coexist naturally, being the quality a priority and nothing is left to chance. The service, fri
Reserved a table and sat indoors. I had grouper with beetroot risotto whilst my friend had halibut with asparagus risotto. Topped off with a lovely bottle of Douro white wine. The waiter was relaxed and friendly whilst not being too pushy. Nice chilled environment, would recommend.

Best place to eat fresh fish ..near of the sea..relaxing place...The best sun viewer near of a rare sea...you Will enjoy it
It is a small beach restaurant and bar on the beach of Figueira-da-Foz, more precisely in Buarcos that is right next to Figueira-da-Foz. It is a beautiful white and blue wood house with a large balcony. The food is quite good, mostly based on fish and seafood, although some meat based dishes and sandwiches, as well as salads, are also available. So far I have gone there twice, but I plan to come back.So far, I have tried grilled sardines (very good), octopus salad (nothing special) and fried cod fish's tongues with rice with clams (excellent). Good wine choice is available. Expect to pay around 20â¬/person for couvert, main dish, beer (or a glass of wine) and coffee.
