My grade school classmates and I had a wonderful reunion here. We didn't want a private room but they placed us with four large tables of six each close together in the corner of the main dining room area. It worked out perfectly. Our hostess and several servers were great and extremely helpful to all our needs. The food was delicious which was primarily seafood but they serve everything. There were no complaints from our group about anything on that Saturday night. The band started in the large bar area around 9pm and it didn't disturb us. There is also plenty of free parking.

Okay so it's not the best looking restaurant I've been to and as a matter of fact it's very close to the worst looking restaurant I've been to. Getting past that if you want great seafood at incredibly reasonable prices, this is the place for you! The food is plentiful and delicious. The service was quick, friendly and efficient. If its ambiance you seek then go to Butcher and Singer but if it's good food at a reasonable price then go to Kooper Kettle.

Just moved up here and everyone recommended this place for crabs. I went with a dozen steamed for lunch and a pair of crab cakes for dinner. The steamed crab prices were very reasonable and packed. The crab cakes -to die for. If you're looking for fresh and really good seafood-look no farther-this is the place!
