An exclusive resort town long recognized for attracting royalty, Estoril lies less than 20 miles west of Lisbon and is probably best known for its casino. One of Europe’s largest, it was the inspiration for the first of Ian Fleming’s James Bond books, "Casino Royale." Estoril’s mild winters and warm sunny summers make it a perfect beach town, with one of the nicest, Praia do Tamariz, lying right next to the casino. So famous has Estoril become that the local coast is now called Costa do Estoril.

Typical portuguese cuisine. Fresh fish and portuguese style fish rice. Monday to Saturday.
Excellent tiny restaurant with friendly service and delicious sea food dishes. Remember to book your table beforehand since this place seems to be very popular.

Between the soggy fries at tourist traps and the snooty overpriced locales is this gem of a place that offers incredibly modern flavor combinations of fresh ingredients, all delivered by the nicest guys youâll ever meet. Our friends loved this place so much we all went back again on our last night. From specialty cocktails (mezcal & jalapeño, passion fruit white sangria) to flavorful salads and sides - itâs one of those places where you find yourselves passing around the dishes saying âyouâve got to try this!â Plentiful menu options, all with high quality, fresh ingredients. The servers were all friendly and although busy would still take the time to chat and teach us a little Portuguese. Highly recommend you get there early for drinks to get a table, then order food when the kitchen opens at 7:15/7:30.

On the sea front walk from Estoril to Cascais, the perfect place to break off for a drink or sample some great food.... Open Wednesday to Monday Summertime 09.00 till 23.00 Winter 09.30 till 18.00
Server: she was very rude and impatient when I inquired about using the complimentary WiFi; it was not connecting and she sarcastically said she uses it over the entire premise thus implied I was the problem, even another server was unsuccessful using the password she provided to me and she then proceeded to fuss with him about it. My order: I asked for sweet potato fries which she nodded they had but she brought me regular fries and I was not about to correct her because I was afraid she might spit on my corrected order. I usually tip servers, even for below average service, but this was the 3rd time I refused to do so during my decades long dining experiences but I did tip the helpful busboy. Would i return: maybe BUT only if she is not my server!

Had read the reviews about this place, and luckily managed to squeeze in without a reservation, itâs a superb restaurant ,with a cute outside area for pressings. We had lovely meals, all really tasty and full of flavour, quite big portions though which meant unfortunately we had no space for desert. Next time! Really enjoyed the wine and beer too. Thanks for a super evening, we will be back.restaurant, superreRestaurant ,Restaurant restaurantrestaurantrestaurant, ,lotsofcharacter, cute outside seating area. The restaurant was really busy, but still had excellent service, really impressed with our food, the only very minor point was that the meat and fish we ordered was undercooked, but when mentioned it was sent straight back and re-done for us, everything was perfect then

the picapica restaurant is located in the historic protected area of ââcascais, you will find welcome, quality, freshness and quantity to satisfy your taste buds. Portuguese cuisine and some tapas concocted by our chef await you there.
We had the mixed fish plate for two. Which was enormous but lacked some quality and had various dried out elements, like the mussels. Iâd be much happier with a smaller better quality plate. Wine was good. The service was charming. muchas gracias para su comentario, en el restaurante dices "richissimo" a frente del camarero y ahora en tripadvisor este comentario???otro dia ,otro cliente ,otra opinion......no va la pena agregar mas....

As other places in my list was closed, i decided to visit this one, mostly because of good reviews on Tripadvisor. But i was not so exited about the food, neither the service. While we was checking menus, we got already bill from another table and the waiter was confused, when i told that we just came. Afterwards the service was quite good. Got our ordered fish and chicken, and I got confused when my fish was served with actual chips. (I have been to places where its writen in the menu *chips* and you are getting some home made potatoes (like simple wersioin of french fries), but never a real chips as a side dish) . OK, my fail, needed to read the menu carefully and ask more questions. Overall it was eatable, but nothing special. My boyfriend was quite satisfied with the chicken. For 30 Euros you can get better meal.

Good light, comfort, simplicity and good taste are the 4 principal characteristics of the Atlânticoâs ambiance. The room has a new image, more aerated and integrated in the nautical line of inspiration. The sobriety and the good taste of the space shelter
We have been customers of Atlantico for a fortnight, the team is absolutely amazing. All team members are very attentive to guests, the menu is not big but has enough to select. The prices are realistic considering you are at authors restaurant of Miguel Laffan. Our expectations were exceeded. The compliments are so nice and fresh in taste, the octopus is the best ever tried, the tuna is magnificent. The deserts are also special. We were happy to be their gusts. You should also try!

what a lovely hidden gem of a restaurant. Accommodated our table of 10 no problem. Attentive, polite and discreet service. Very, very good traditional Portuguese food and most of all, excellent value for money. Local people were also eating here so we took that as a good sign. It doesn't look like much but the food and service more than make up for that.Agradecemos o seu comentário. Esperamos vê-lo numa próxima visita. Cumprimentos
