Lots of good grease! We had an early dinner. Excellent service. We ate way too much. The portions are more than ample. The fried oysters starter was very good. The lobster/shrimp special was excellent. And the seafood platter is enormous and good. Could not finish it. If you like fried seafood, this is the place. They have other selections but why not order good grease??

Had lunch with friends on Sunday outside on the deck. Lovely setting and comfortable seating with choice of awning or sun. Food was very good. Ahi tuna salad, steak salad and lobster roll all enjoyed. Server was pleasant and we wanted for nothing.Music started at 4pm as we were about to leave but sounded great. Will return!

Put simply, Dough on Main, offered good food, but we have now retired! Thank you to all who stopped in â whether only once, from time-to-time or once a day! We enjoyed 7 wonderful years delighting you!
Dough on Main was recommended to me by someone who is probably the most hyper-critical restaurant goer I have ever met. I trust her judgment and she eats here regularly. Well, she was right. The eggplant sandwich with pesto was delicious and substantial. I almost couldn't finish it, but it was so good, I couldn't stop. I will definitely be back to try the other sandwiches and homemade pastas. The place is small and has a homey vibe. There's one small table in the window (there are steps) and a larger dining table next to the coolers. Prices are on the high side for Connecticut (average or below-average for New York City), but totally worth what you are paying in terms of quality and freshness. I'm sold.Thank you for your great review. We are pleased that a savvy friend and regular customer enticed you to give us a try and that you were pleased. Your reaction to our food is one we continually strive for. Again, thanks! And we do hope you can visit again soon.

I reserved a private room for an event during the brunch time. This is my third time having an event at Fresh Salt. Ellen, Liz and other staff were all super accommodating, easy to work with and helped us with another memorable event. Heather was designated to our room and was great at keeping things smooth. The buffet was delicious, plenty of variety for all my picky eaters. Everything was fresh and beautifully presented. Our cake (special order) was spectacular. The raspberry mouse filling was delightful, refreshing and so moist. Thank you for meeting all our needs and exceeding all of our expectations yet again! Mgwis,Thank you kindly, it is rewarding to all of our team to receive your compliments. My husband and I selected Otter Cove because it was so close to the Quality Inn where we were stopping for the night. We were pleased. Food was very good and service was prompt and friendly. I had the Mongolian ribs which were fall off the bone tender and very tasty. Husband had baked Haddock with crab and that was very good as well. Would recommend if you are in town

This restaurant is truly a gem. From the moment you walk in it sets a tone. The service was outstanding. The food fresh, delicious and beautifully presented. We had oysters, octopus, ravioli (special lobster and mushroom) and swordfish all absolutely to die for. Our only disappointment is not leaving any room for dessert. I can honestly say that I canât wait to return. Reservations are strongly recommended we were there Saturday 7:45 and the place was packed.

Casual waterfront dining located in the Brewer's Dauntless Shipyard. A bit hard to find but defintely worth the effort. Abby's Place serves American cuisine with a flair, specializing in fresh, locally sourced meats and seafood.
Terrific veggie burger with pesto. The crab soup was very good and the chicken sandwich was tasty. Our waitress was very accommodating as was the owner. Unfortunately the waiter had an issue when we arrived and asked not to be seated next to the door as it was very cold outside and didnât want our two year old granddaughter to be subjected to that. We simply asked to be seated at the adjacent table that had a reserved sign on it when he told us that they had a reservation. We informed him that so did we and he didnât seem to understand arguing that they had called ahead which we informed him that we did as well. Finally the owner came out of the kitchen and placed us at the âreservedâ table we had asked for originally. It could have turned ugly but we appreciated the owner settling the issue.
