Restaurant and Premium Fish & Seafood Market. National craft beers, always backing the artisanal and responsible fishing. Seafood and fish restaurant and fishmonger; supporting responsible and artisanal fishing. Bar of national craft beers.
Truly fresh, sustainably caught seafood available every day. Our server Dennis recommended the Mediterranean ceviche, which was terrific, and the Cabrilla, which is not available all the time; we had it over a Med salad with lobster bisque, all highly recommended. Dennis did a great job and the price was very reasonable.

Peruvian restaurant renowned for its flavor, freshness and creativity of their seafood dishes, with currents Creole, Oriental and Italian cuisine, etc.
I tried many Peruvian restaurants in my life and this one is one you can easily miss. The service was terrible even with little customers on the place. They offer valet parking and with a concert in the nearby stadium it was difficult to find a space in the street as they do no reserve spots for their customers. The food was nicely presented but regular. A sampler of ceviches at 20k colones ($40) is arm robbery. I am an easy going customer but this place simply disappointed me, I will not return or recommend to friends. It is very unfortunate what he mentions. In short, these parking issues when there are activities in the National Stadium generate this type of inconveniences, taking into account that our parking works through the Valet Parking. For us it is very important to have more clear the details to which it refers with the service, so if it were possible to obtain your telephone number or email to abound in the subject, it would be very helpful.Thank you.

The menu has a big alert along the bottom warning you of the 27% service charge for the restaurant. Do your math beforehand so you don't end up shocked, even if you did see it coming (raising my hand here). The service was friendly and attentive but the food took my attention here. What our group had to say about it:Veggie causa: Mushrooms, carrots, peppers, and broccoli on the mashed potato heaven. Very good.Pasta with shrimp: Sauce was unique and super creamy. Shrimp cooked well. Tasty.Chicken with ham: Essentially a cordon blue. Cooked well with good ham. Cabbage salad was tasty. Was it worth the 27% service charge? Depends. If you have access to great Peruvian food elsewhere, no. If you don't, yes. But after a review of our receipt we saw they had taken several hundred colones of the prices of our meal, dropping it lower than what we should have paid. Thank you!If you are not on a budget and want a fancy night out with great Peruvian food, this is the ticket.

One of the better Peruvian restaurants Iâve eaten at. Fabulous pisco sours, very good ceviche, good specialities. Not the cheapest, but good value for money as the quality is high. Wine is expensive, as it seems to be everywhere in Costa Rica - we stuck to beer.Intend to eat there again before we leave.

This restaurant was recommended to a friend and I who were in town for work. They had an extensive menu and we enjoyed a beautiful large salad with lots of avocado, and arroz con pollo. My friend was thrilled to discover they offer complimentary fresh spun cotton candy after dinner!! Hoping to return soon.

I cannot remember having such a delightful evening in a very long time! Visiting the Escazu area of San Jose for the first time, and wanted to try something we couldn't get in the States. Trip Advisor rated this restaurant quite highly - especially for the price - and we decided to give it a try. It's a good thing we are tenacious, for we had trouble finding it in the dark (it's about 50 meters straight up the road from the sign PRIVE, on the next lefthand corner) but after we finally found it, it was worth every minute of searching! The service could not have been better. I believe our server Vincente may have also been the owner; he was charming and attentive to our every need. He spoke very little English (although his chef partner did) but they offer detailed menus written in English, and he was very helpful in selecting the best dishes for everyone. We shared smaller portions of a good variety of things - both appetizers and main courses - and even my nearly-impossible-to-please son, who is also a chef, was delighted with everything. It was a perfect evening to sit outside and look out over the city lights, with lovely music playing in the background. We seldom waited for more than a few minutes between plates, and yet we never felt rushed. The timing of everything was perfect for us. Our particular favorites were the fried calamari, the tortilla de patata, the shrimp in garlic, and the house-made green peppercorn sauce for the beef tenderloin medallions. We all enjoyed the evening immensely, from young adults to middle-age to elderly family members. I suspect this treasure will not stay hidden for long!
