Wedding Venue
The grounds and decor are absolutely breathtaking, there are several rooms upstairs to get ready for your event and even a nice smaller bar away from the main dining room. The main room is not massive but nice and roomy beautifully decorated and not too flashy. We were there to inquire about holding our wedding at the facility and the staff were very friendly and answered all my questions thoroughly. Their package prices were over our budget which is the only reason we didn't choose it. Being situated on the water with a lovely landscaped back yard it would be a dreamy place for not only a wedding but an anniversary and very impressive for a work function. If it is within your budget I would recommend it for your special day.

Located in The Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk along South Windsorâs Route 194 (at exit 62 off of I-84), Burtons Grill is just a stoneâs throw from the Buckland Hills Mall. A perfect lunch or dinner spot for shoppers and locals, also great for power lun
I enjoyed a delicious burger accompanied by a sweet potato salad, the perfect early summer meal. Our server was savvy and upbeat, and the restaurant's "vibe" was energetic without being overwhelming. I see others recommend it as a stop off 84 and I would agree with that, plus the mall it's in offers interesting shopping.

My husband and I were looking for a Lobster Roll. Two kinds were available. Cold with mayonnaise or hot with butter. Very disappointed with mine. Lobster was cold so was the roll. I had anticipated a butter grilled roll with hot lobster. Instead no grilled roll, the lobster was cold so was the melted butter. The dill pickle that came with it was the best part of the lunch. I keep trying to like this place, but Iâm done. At dinner the vegetables have been on a steam table. Have no taste or nutrition. Sorry not going back.

Decorated to look like an actual dockside, inside and out, I rather liked this place. Although the shrimp were large in the cocktail app, the sauce needed way more horseradish. Granted, I'm spoiled by St Elmo's World Famous Cocktail Sauce (Indianapolis, IN), this tasted more like a mild spicy ketchup.... My son got the surf and turf, with fries, and really like the stuffed shrimp! The steak was well prepared too.I opted for the grilled swordfish, almost got it blackened, but just went with grilled this time. Decent sized portion. Also opted for the sweet potato fries and like them a lot. Might have to spring for a 'lobster from the tank' meal next time I'm in town! Service was good and for a quiet meal, I'd recommend giving them a try.
