Things to do in Eden
Some of the freshest fish I have eaten in my lifetime. Perfectly filleted, no bones and shiny. Straight from the ocean and very cheap. Literally came off the boat in the morning, to my hand 2 hours later and cooked by my partner 2 hours after that. Spectacular. We had Gummy shark (delicious) Grenadier, Ocean Perch, King Island Dory and brim. All excellent. We spent about $40 for a dozen of so pieces of fish. Would have been $100 in Sydney. Canât beat fresh.Get some Muscles from across the road $10 kg, a dozen oysters $9kg and some nice champagne and you have the perfect meal.
Unique café/restaurant on the Eden Wharf. Enjoy the relaxing sun-drenched deck with a Vittoria coffee: Open 7 days 7am to 3pm breakfast/lunch (selected nights in summer) and BYO alcohol, family owned with excellent waitstaff, not only offering seafood but
Hands down the worst seafood weâve ever experienced. Whole snapper was over cooked with absolutely nothing for flavour. Seafood on tasting platter was bland . Kids fish and chips cane with one small piece of fish that was covered in more batter than fish. I didnât know you could make fresh fish taste so bad and I love seafood. Spent over $100 for 4 of us and we all feel completely dissatisfied. On our way next door for a burger. Finnys is sorry that your experience was unfortunate..we notice that you seemed to enjoy most food provided and little remained..If you had approoached senior staff at the time we may have been able to alleivate your issues.please at your next visit mention your post for a discounted meal..cheers

Location is wonderful, and imagine if the food, service and manners of the staff matched it what a gem it would be. Alas, food ordinary and overpriced, and the woman behind the bar very combative and unpleasant. Maybe she was having a bad day, but we will never know because we won't be back to eat there.

Breakfast, brunch, lunch and afternoon tea with a small plate menu and accompanied by a lovely range of wines and beers. Not the standard fare - just interesting flavours on small plates. Catering to vegetarian, gluten free and located in the main street
Travelling with two teenage boys on a big coastal trip we needed to find somewhere for lunch that offered a variety, was fast yet nourishing & satisfied my sometimes picky eaters. I wanted somewhere clean & to eat something fresh. Ollie Masons Cafe ticked all the boxes. The husband & wife team worked extremely well together & were very obliging. The food was delicious & fresh. Everything was clean including the toilets. The cafe is licensed. When travelling to Eden again, Ollie Masons Cafe will be a return visit for us. Thanks for providing a relaxing lunch on our very big travelling day.Thank you for calling in we hope to see you again on your next trip

Wharfside Cafe is a fully licensed cafe/restaurant situated on the harbour in Eden, New South Wales. Our view is beautiful and the fact that it is a working port makes it interesting as well. Dolphins come in close during winter and we have a resident sea
Great place to enjoy the view. We were fortunate to find a place outside in the sunshine to wait for our lunch. My husband enjoyed his Seafood Chowder and I had Asian Chicken Meatballs with a crunchy salad. These were more than adequate servings for lunch, presented nicely.

Located down near the fishing wharf on the southern end of town. Good range of local oyster options on the menu. Great selection of beers & a small but adequate selection of wines. Friendly staff. Quiet at the moment, but I imagine this place really buzzes in Christmas holiday season
