The Waterfront is a great place to enjoy great food, live music and cigar lounge. We would love to host your next private event in our banquet room! Located right on the Detroit River with docks available for our patrons.
I really wanted to like this place. We had called ahead for 5:30 seating and were seated quickly :)The table was all wonky, so every time I leaned forward to hear the conversation, the table dipped :( Told our polite, but O-So-slow server, and asked for a book of matches to tuck under the leg. He said heâd ask the manager. That never happened:(The music ( not the band setting up mind you) was so loud, the table behind us asked their server to unplug the speaker near their table:(Finally got our food. Simply had fish and chips. The coleslaw was hot( from sitting under the heat lamps waiting to be sent to table perhaps?)and my fish was chewy and small considering the $19 price tag. Even the fries were over done and tasted like the oil needed to be changed:(Guess I wonât be getting my $10 gift card for writing a GOOD review. Thatâs ok. We werenât planning on returning any way.
Tiny little take out shop has a case full of fresh fish of all types that they will fry immediately for you. If that's not enough, they also fry chicken, chicken wings, and veggies. The lemon pepper seasoning makes their chicken wings the best wings in Detroit. There's always a bunch of cars parked out on Fort Street and around the Fish Station for good reason - you can't find better, fresher fried food anywhere.

Zydeco night. Cajun food and music. Beautiful night for a cruise from Wyandotte past the Ren Cen in Detroit and back. Food was good and authentic, however; the method of service was rather cramped. Not a lot of dancers but we gave it a try! "Any day (or night) on the water is a good day.
