Went with some locals who said it was good and affordable. Like many authentic dim sum places it is super loud. If you are native and donât speak Chinese, be prepared for an adventure. The cart ladies are pushy (pun intended) and aggressively try to convince you that you want what is on their cart, even if you have a lot on your table already. Getting a glass of water takes an act of Congress and you know how well they are doing these days. If you ask what a particular food item is, be prepared for an answer that doesnât make a lot of sense. They have a picture menu on the table that you can point to things on which is a good safety net. It was a surprisingly good price for a decent amount of food. Be aware, during a busy lunch rush, it can look like a hurricane came through in the bathrooms.
I came here with my friend and it was a good restaurant. There are many selections of food that you can pick.
I tried FTE on a casual Sunday night, and they were $1.29, 30 cents more than Tacos Ensenada/Baja Ensenada on their special days. The fish tacos were on point, though honestly, I couldn't tell if they were that much better or worse. I came late so there wasn't a line or a big crowd. However, I don't think they stand out more than the TBE/TE but if you around here, its worth a try, but I'm happy with other choices.

The inspiration behind BRERA Ristorante comes from classic recipes of cucina povera, the countryside along the River Po' Valley in Northern Italy where both Chef Angelo Auriana and Matteo Ferdinandi grew up. Enjoy pastas, risottos, steaks and more from th
We had a very good dinner at Officine Brera. The restaurant is large and you have a lot of space around you. The service was professional and courteous. As main course I had grilled eels, probably not everyone favorite, but absolutely delicious! We drank a red wine from Oltrepo Pavese: Bottarda, one of my favorites very hard to find in Los Angeles!
We visited this location several times whilst on holiday in the USA. The weather was super hot, and wanted something light and refreshing. As you enter the store, they give you these mouth sized sample pots allowing you to try 3 or 4 different flavours before buying. The kids loaded their tubs up and so you always have to be mindful you pay by weight! Staff very friendly and the place was air conditioned, which was a welcome feature to get out of August heat. Well recommended.
I had always wanted to try Poke and had read good things about this place. The guy behind the counter--didn't get his name, sorry--was very helpful and walked us through ordering. It's Build-Your-Bowl style--pick your rice, pick your seafood, pick your toppings, pick your sauce(s). The option is how many scoops of seafood--two ($7.99), three ($8.99), or five ($10.99), and all the same or all different. We had salmon, spicy tuna, yellowtail, octopus and squid. All were excellent. Topping options were cilantro, onion, cucumber, avocado, jalapeño, ginger, wasabi, and seaweed salad. I had heard that the sauces can overpower the fish and this was the case. Next time I'll ask for half the amount of sauce, so as not to mask the tasty fish. Or, maybe the sauce on the side since it was very good. They definitely hooked me on poke. I'll be back to Pokiholic next time in Monterey Park!

The Factory Kitchen serves traditional Italian fare including delicate house-made pastas, fresh seafood and focaccinas in the heart of the thriving Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Established in 2013. This trattoria-style restaurant is the product
Food was delicious, excellent pastas which reminded me of a summer on the Amalfi Coast. The mandilli di seta was one of the most delicate, flavorful dishes we have eaten, like silk in your mouth. The pappardelle was delicious, light with just the correct amount of meat. Many times pappardelle can be heavy and rich, this dish was just right, great pasta, light sauce, truly delicious. The casonzei was flavorful and tasty. Pastas are clearly handmade to order. Down side is the place is extremely noisy for someone - like me - with a hearing disorder. I wish they had seating which dampened the noisy which for someone with a VA hearing disability made it difficult to hear. Wine list was very good and complimented the menu, reasonably priced all things considered. I would highly recommend the food and the service with the caveat that it is very noisy and difficult to hear conversations. Food was very reasonably priced as was the wine.

From coast to coast, the dim sum are very similar. I always wish restaurants would be more creative. I was very pleased with the dim sum here. There are so many different selections in addition to the traditional ones. Everything was delicious. The service was great. The waiter always checking my teapot. Empty dishes were removed promptly. This is one of the best dim sum restaurant I have ever been to. I wished I had a bigger stomach so I can try more things. Thumbs up!
