We're original booked in a small hotel called the IPM. We decide not to stay there and found the Ulek resort off the beach front highway. It was there that the Medan Ikan Bakar was recommended to us...we wanted some fresh seafood and we definitely got it. The squid, seafood fried rice and fresh catch fish was very good. Basic seating and tables but that actually added to the ambience! Highly recommend trying it if you are looking for a good value in a seafood dinner, the food was great!

Its a must to try in Dungun however, the crab is on the small size. The environment is a bit stuffy but other than that it is a generous serving.

We went there in December 2018. Had siakap tiga rasa which was pretty good. Unfortunately there were no prawns available at that time. Tom yam was not good. If you want tom yam better to find it in kelantan or thailand.

We ate here most lunchtimes and once in the evening and we werenât disappointed. The service was a little slow and there could have been better beers on selection. It was disappointing that they had run out of asahi and only had Carlsberg on happy hour. In my opinion they should have offered another beer on happy hour.

Went there for two nights in a row.The first one we couldn't order seafood as it was finished and it is almost the time for the restaurant to close. We can only order western cuisines (Chicken Chops and Grilled)The second time we came much earlier to order the seafood dishes.The food was awesome. I even add another plate of rice.Total for 3 person with lots of dishes (7 types; Chicken, Fishes and Vegetables) including drinks around rm94.50 only.The staff there is very friendly and easy to communicate.
