We had dinner and breakfast at the shack. While our dinner was yummy the portions were a little on the small side, especially the entrees. The breakfast on the other hand was massive, yum and great value for money, we would do breakfast again for sure (we are gym goers so we like to eat haha) The location is perfect, lovely in the day, and a bit special in the night, dim lights, reggae music and waves, great for drinks :)

The Legend The early 1800âs witnessed the arrival of Espero Cardo and his herd of some of the worldâs finest beef cattle to Fiji. Originally bound for Australia, this shipment of prized animals from the pampas of Argentina was pirated in the Koro Sea by w
Chose Cardos for our last night in Fiji due to consistent reviews and because of a couple of blackboard specials. Was with my darling, our eldest daughter and grandson. Made it with minutes to spare for happy hour. $4.00 local draught beer. Ordered Giant Seafood Platter and Fish Tacos to share between the three grown ups. My big girls let me down and left me smashing most of it myself. Lucky I had not eaten much all day. Fish tacos was maybe 8 soft tacos with salad, salsa and fish. Probably not enough ingredients to make up that many but we supplemented from the platter. Platter was freaken enormous. Highlight was the tempura prawns. I could have eaten fifty of them. Next best was the calamari. Super tender and delish. There was fish done three ways (including whole), chilli mussels, prawns in shell, octopus and raw fish. The only questionable bits were the prawns in shell.. not really sure what the flavour was meant to be and too much effort for too little result, and the octopus was a little gritty. Staff were friendly, music was good, vibe was warm. All this and three beers for $160 Fijian. (120 NZD). I would go back in a second. Donât eat anything all day before you go. Photo shows the tragic remains.

Loma Ni Wai is our unique in the water dining experience where dinner is served in one of our lagoon swimming pools. Reservations only.
From the time you arrive at sundown you are greeted like an old friend. Kava ceremony with some really interesting local trivia. Then onto your table! With your feet splashing in the pool you are brought three courses of samples of local foods cooked to perfection. The seared tuna was to die for! There is no doubt that the Fijians know their way around fish! Plaintain leaves wrapped around the most delicious fish you could imagine. The waiters (Veta and Sailosi) keep the food coming at a good pace and drinks (soft drinks, house beer and wine) are in endless supply. During main courses you are treated to a fire show and dancing. In the dimly lit area, with the fire sticks twirling, they put on a fantastic show! You donât have to be staying at the Radisson Blu Resort but, if you are on Denarau for a Monday night, treat yourself to a really gorgeous experience with amazing food. Booking essential as it is only scheduled if minimum numbers are met.Bula 09karlenem, Thank you for sharing your five star review with us.
