I have always found it suprinsing that a fishing village like Den Helder has so few seafood options. This is more like a deli with a range of overpriced items. The food is quality, but the price is daunting. They would do great business though, I think if they had some dine in options that were a bit better priced!

I had eaten at this restaurant a couple of times mainly for take out. The last time I went I was sick after eating here. The restaurant is still very busy, but I will not be eating here again. They have a nice seating section, and the staff are friendly, the food quality / taste is so so. The main dining area is not used very much, but the take away section is always busy.

Fine dining restaurant located at the top of the Grand Hotel Beatrix with amazing views across the north sea and Texel. The bib- gourmand restaurant is listed in the 'lekker 500' of the Netherlands. Chef Raymond van Veen and his team look forward to welco
Good view out to sea from this third floor restaurant. Reasonable choice of food, nicely prepared and accompanied by a decent wine list. Sense of this restaurant as being a bit pretentious (being briefed specifically on exactly what was in each dish we had ordered by the waiter the key data here) but enjoyable. Portions moderate, and beautifully presented.

ooking for a place to have lunch with our group of four adults and five children, we found Kade 60, a beautiful restaurant in an old renovated warehouse. The big wooden tables and the welcoming atmosphere, made us feel right at home. I loved the open kitchen where we could see the cooks at work.Lunch menu options are limited, but there was enough variation to satisfy everyone in our group. The children loved their pancakes (which they could decorate themselves with candy and whipped cream) and I enjoyed a nice cup of soup with freshly baked bread and lovely butter with herbs. My boyfriend had an "uitsmijter": bread with eggs, mushrooms and bacon, which was huge. I enjoyed my glass of Chardonnay so much I ordered a second one.Our waiter was very friendly and patient (it took some time to decide what we wanted to order). It is nice to have a meal at a place where children are welcome. And the hand cream in the toilets was a nice gesture!

Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria. Really Italianen Family Management.
During our 2-weeks stay in Den Helder we went 3 times to Da Gino. The food (we had Pizza, Pasta, Risotto an desserts) was very good, the staff was very nice and helpful and they all spoke a very good English. The prizes of the different dishes are affordable . We spent 3 nice and sympathetic evenings at the cosy Da Gino, we almost felt like in Italy, we will definitely return there and recommend this restaurant warmly.Grazie..... arrivederci.

An early fall lunch. Outside seating was available, but we opted for an indoor table. Had great views of the lighthouse, the islands and North Sea. Sandwiches come with thick sliced bread. Made my sonâs club sandwich quite an undertaking. Burger with an egg was excellent.Thank you for your nice reply.

Loved the team, but didnt think this should be a tripadvisor top rated restaurant for the town. Food was beautifully presented, but very small portions and was actually pretty bland. Expensive too. Cant knock the front of house though. They are great.
