Things to do in Den Burg
Kleinschalig visrestaurant: in intieme huiskamersetting dineren. Ons menu bestaat voornamelijk uit vis maar ook een aantal lokale vlees- en vega-gerechten. We maken graag gebruik van eerlijke en streekgebonden producten. Onze gerechten zijn puur van smaak
The service and atmospherewere both quite good, but the food was absolutely outstanding. The combinations aren't spectacular -there's nothing new about texel gray shrimp with a cocktailsauce- but this was simply delicious. The fish were fresh, the sauces great and most importantly: everything was in balance. Even the side dishes were great, especially the rhubarb really stood out. All combined it was a really delicate, delicious meal.

This modern, contemporary styled beach restaurant is located in one of the prettiest areas of the island. We just had some good coffee and cake, but canât wait to go back and try the food while enjoying the beach scenery. Thank you for this review and we are looking forward to welcome you again!

For a small island like Texel, you would expect a camping brasserie like this one to serve you standard dishes, highly priced, with mediocre quality. Luckily for us, this was absolutely not the case. Went here for dinner with my old and new board members, and we had an absolute blast. The wines were nice, the food was amazing, and the way the personnel held up with us (a group of 10 students) was noteworthy. Inspiring dishes and meat/fish/veggie combinations which yoy are unlikely to encouter at your standard island tavern. Whether you're staying just around the corner or at the other side of the island, i would highly recommend this for your dinner. Not in the cheapest category, but value-wise a very good catch. 10/10 would dine again.

We made a reservation at the Brasserie but when we walked in it was very quiet, but after an hour it was packed. Food is delicious, presentation is really nice. The waiters were very friendly and professional, except for one guy where you could see it was one of his first days, but he was learning fast. In a few days he will be part of the team.

Let's call it a cute restaurant. It serves fresh fish, it serves Texel lamb, which was the reason we came. And we were not disappointed. A delicious meal, a memorable meal.We had a great time. One thing to remember, reservations are a must.

We serve one menu of at least 4 courses (saturday starting at 5 courses) with only the ingredients that we really support. Our appetizers and dishes are inspired by the seasons, what the island offers us and vegetables have the leading role. The meat, fis
Whilst holidaying on Texel, we celebrated our wedding anniversary with our two boys (aged 9 and 13) by introducing them to fine din8ng in Kook Atelier. They were a little nervous beforehand, partly at the thought of experimenting with food and partly because we don't speak Dutch. As we entered the restaurant, any fears were quickly dispelled as our waitress greeted us in excellent English and went out of her way to make us all feel at home. We went for a six course 'surprise' menu, with added amuse bouches. We were not disappointed; every course was made from fresh, local produce and was presented with beauty, style and in one course humour (a delicious seafood dish served in a sardine tin!)The taste combinations were exquisite, with parsley sorbet, served with strawberries in multiple forms, a real surprise hit! The service was also exceptional, the waitress and chef going out of their way to ensure we all got the most out of our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys a truly fine dining experience. Thank you. Thank you so much for this wonderfull review, hope to see you again!

Fine dining restaurant located at the top of the Grand Hotel Beatrix with amazing views across the north sea and Texel. The bib- gourmand restaurant is listed in the 'lekker 500' of the Netherlands. Chef Raymond van Veen and his team look forward to welco
Good view out to sea from this third floor restaurant. Reasonable choice of food, nicely prepared and accompanied by a decent wine list. Sense of this restaurant as being a bit pretentious (being briefed specifically on exactly what was in each dish we had ordered by the waiter the key data here) but enjoyable. Portions moderate, and beautifully presented.
