Just a little hole in the wall restaurant, nothing fancy but the seafood is wonderful. We ate here with family and all our meals came out hot and tasty with plentiful portions. No problem getting double sauteed veggies with our grilled Mahi Mahi. Be sure to tell them how you want the fish cooked because they cook everything well done unless asked. Veggies are crisp and tasty, fish is sweet and well seasoned. Wait staff is friendly. Will return.

We would have rated it higher but we waited 40 minutes for our order. The crawfish were a little salty for my taste but still very good. They came out hot and were easy to shell. It is a small local place, busy at times, friendly staff, lots of outside seating, a few tables inside, not a big menu and when we visited, they ran out of bottled water. If you aren't picky about the looks of the place and don't mind sitting on the side of 105, the lunch deal is excellent. We will visit again.

This is located within zip code 77303 - newer Red Lobster between Conroe and Willis, Texas
We ate many times at Red lobster in different cities and we found the food OK but the last time we feel that the only thing that they are interested about is your money, they dropped the quality of the food but they raise a lot the prices. The service was good but the food wasn't, I ordered a medium rare steak and shrimps, my steak came over cooked and they replace it after a long time, my wife ordered the samplers, no really tasty. The atmosphere was OK, I don't think we come back to this place, the prices are so high that's better to go to a real steak house for a little bit more. We're sorry to hear that you were unsatisfied with your meal at our Conroe restaurant and we'd like to learn how we can make this better. Would you be able to give us a call at 800-562-7837; MondayâFriday from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM ET so that we may learn more about your experience?
Conroe Food Guide: 10 Must-Eat Restaurants & Street Food Stalls in Conroe
We have always wanted to try Fish Tales and finally made it here. I had the trio (catfish, chicken, shrimp). with fries. Very tasty. Unfortunately, they forgot the catfish. So did I until it was too late. Definite need to check before I eat next time.I like their sauces (cocktail, tartar). They go well with anything (chicken , catfish, shrimp). Will definitely come back.

Stopped for lunch on way to Houston. Attentive staff seated and brought beverages. Four buffet tables and new sushi bar (which handily noted raw and cooked items encouraging first timers to give sushi a try). All the expected dishes on buffet with abundance of seafood options- crawfish, mussels, multiple shrimp, and even oysters on the half and froglegs. Husband would have liked more heat in the General Tso and I would have liked less onions in veggie dishes. Kiddo loved won ton soup (picky about that soup). Staff stayed attentive but not intrusive. Nice lunch break.

My wife and I dined at Amore Seafood last evening after hearing about it from friends. We were largely disappointed! My wife had the sea bass item from the menu which she liked. I ordered a chilled lobster roll which arrived luke warm with a lot of filler. They do not have a full bar,but are moving to a new location in June. They do have a wine list but we did not order wine on this visit. The sun glaring into the restaurant was unpleasant for several diners seated where there was no way to block it. Unfortunately the sun also amplified the dirty floor beneath diners tables and accumulated dust on diners chairs. Made us wonder if cleanliness is a persistent problem? The menu for a seafood restaurant was mixed. A lot of fried foods. Entrees mostly required a side from a limited menu for which an added charge was levied. Overall we will await their relocation and time to get fully organized before we return.

Family owned and operated, Vernon's Kuntry Katfish provides home-style cooking in a casual and comfortable environment. Just like walking into a family member's living room and having a relaxing dinner, Kuntry Katfish has the same homey atmosphere with it
The large parking lot is always full so we went to Vernonâs Kuntry Katfish for lunch, even though neither my husband nor myself were in the mood for fish. It was 1 pm Friday. Lunch specials are weekdays 11-2. I ordered the chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes ( they are real) with the light gravy ( they offer dark and light) , green beans and fried mini apple pies. Beverage was included , the sweet tea was good. Also included is your choice of bread, I received a quite large piece of cornbread. Honey was brought . My husband ordered the side salad as one of his side dishes, it made my mouth water. Next time Iâm getting that in lieu of my apple pies. The service was excellent, my chicken fried steak was very good. You get a lot of food for your money. Next time we will bring friends, food prices and atmosphere canât be beat.
