This is the pizza you write home about. Perfect in every way. Makes even the best Napoli style pizza back home in Toronto disappointing. We had the margherita and the cappriciosa (with some lovely anchovies). Amazing. The place has no table service and seems to be a combination grocery and pizzeria. You order at the check out counter on the way in and give them your name. When the pizzas are ready they call your name...as pronounced in the local dialect, so listen carefully!!! Also just grab drinks from the cooler on the left...when you're done, pay at the check out counter. It was slightly confusing but the effort was completely worth it.

Typical restaurant with kitchen traditional Umbria-toscana.Pizzeria also open for lunch.Air conditioned, wifi zone. You can eat outdoors. Typical menu ⬠15. children's menu ⬠10.
I used to say you can't get a bad meal in Italy, but the meal we had at Dandy's was the exception. It must have been an off night since we went based on Trip Advisor reviews. We went on a not busy week night, but the service was slow and spotty and the food was not what we expected. We were a large group, but split up into smaller tables. Interestingly no one in our group enjoyed their meals. I had the gnocchi which did not have the ridges to hold the sauce, but were instead little lumps of really hard, undercooked dough which I did not finish. None of us wanted to go beyond the past course so I don't know if other choices would have been better.

We are here about 6 times out of our 10 day holiday for either lunch or dinner. It was really excellent and service very good. The owners were so friendly as were all the staff. A good selection of pasta, pizza and seafood (which is hard to find in Sarteano). I can recommend the tagliatelle with clams and tomatoes. And the lamb was very Popular among our group. Our kids just ate plain pasta and it was so tasty. As was the creme brûlée, cheesecake and panda cotta. Very kid friendly restaurant. They also do take out which was very handy.

Typical local, home-made pasta, truffle Frsco, porcini mushrooms, wild boar, hare, snails, steak Chianina IGP, Saffron, Ostrich, Fish, Pizza for lunch.
Pizzas are delicious, very thin, crispy and big and a fantastic bargain. We have taken their pizzas to go back to the villa we are staying in and it is an economical and super yummy lunch. We have been in many spots in Italy over the past two weeks and this pizza is definitely up there in terms of quality and deliciousness. Very nice owner/staff as well. They are open for lunch and then close for awhile in the afternoon until dinner time. Highly recommended.Grazie grazie grazie, tornate presto, vi aspettiamo alla Taverna del Perugino

Friends we were traveling with were familiar with this restaurant. We had just arrived in Chiusi by train from Rome, and it was a quick walk here. It wasn't quite time for the restaurant to open for lunch, but the owners were very welcoming to our group of 6. We had a very nice and relaxing lunch on the patio. It was a wonderful introduction to our time in Tuscany!
Me and my boyfriend visited Dopoteatro on one of our multiple visits through Tuscany and I was completely charmed by the place! We wanted a relaxed and quick dinner and we found this cute and cosy yet elegant aperitivo place in the small village of Sarteano. It ended up felling like a romantic dinner instead, given the nice atmosphere, the warm and welcoming lighting and the carefully chosen design of the restaurant. I would love to go back alone with a book to enjoy that discrete little table with its orange armchair over another delicious Negroni sbagliato.. Really recommend this place!

Visited a number of times during a 2 week stay and had great food each time. Fab antipasti, great selection of pastas, and another mention for the super turbot. Luca and his team were charming each time, very accommodating with a large party lunch booking, and genuinely engaging with us - especially the kids. Mostly Italian dinners too - always a good sign. Cannot recommend strongly enough.

Great italian restaurant specialized in cooking fish and finest Tuscan cuisine . Very refined location. The staff Will make yourself at home
A real hidden gem. Simply outstanding!!! We loved it! It's tucked away in Chiusi, Tuscany but well worth finding. It felt like sitting by in a high-end restaurant in Florence or Rome. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and efficient. Don't use the menu, let them lay the meal out and match the wines for you. You will be very pleased.

Sapori delle colline Toscane è Specialità dell'Agro Pontino e del Mare del Circeo nel cuore di uno dei Borghi Piu' Belli D'italia Cetona (SI)
I've been twice and each time had the sharing platter. This is a selection of large prawns and scampi cooked on coals and served with a whole fish cooked the same way.The family go to a fish market several hours' drive away to ensure the freshness and quality of their food. This is a small family-run place so service can be a little slow but the food is worth the wait! Best to book, too.Wine list is short but improving.

The pizza in the area is the best without any doubt! All of the ingredients are stop quality as well as those for spaghetti. Aldo very good location and service. Strongly recommended.
