Alba La Grigliata is absolutely my favorite seafood restaurant ever. That's a big statement considering I have eaten seafood all over the world. I have eaten here many times since moving to Napoli and every time was a treat. While the pizza isn't exactly up to the Naples standard, it's not bad. The real star of this restaurant is the seafood. The fish is kept alive in salt-water tanks while the mollusks, clams, oysters, cockles, mussels, etc. are kept on shaved ice. You will find nothing fancy, just good Italian version of seafood. The service has always been excellent, fast, and thorough. Down side: Don't expect an American style dining experience. The dining rooms are brightly lit, thus not exactly conducive to a romantic atmosphere. During prime dining time in Italy (after 9:00 p.m.) it is loud with the din of patron conversations. This is also NOT a tourist destination, so the dining experience is truly local Italian. There isn't much parking, but there is a parking guide outside who will point you where to park and even stop traffic to assist you. He doesn't work for the restaurant, so tip him when you leave.

Loved loved loved this place. If you want seafood, fresh fish, this is the place in Casoria that will become your go-to. Every dish was mouth-watering, the choices extensive, the service exemplary and the pricing reasonable. I'm going back in a few days time and can't wait. If they could bottle what makes this restaurant so special, they'd be onto a worldclass winner. Bravo to the chef, the kitchen staff, the servers and the boy who tried really hard to speak English to me and succeeded. Don't tell me you didn't have time. Make time for this restaurant and look forward to pescatore heaven.

When you enter the restaurant, you first see a deli stocked with the best cheeses and charcuterie, on the walls are boxes of dried pasta, sauces, jars of tuna, olives, and tomatoes. Walk further in are 2 dining rooms.Had a wonderful greeting from the owner. Menus printed in English with full descriptions.I've always wanted to try the jar tuna soaked in olive oil, so, had the tuna salad that were big pieces of tuna on top of marinated artichokes. Delicious and full of different textures. Had a special caramelized onion sauce that was cooked for hours, no meat, served on pasta, this was so different, sweet, soft texture, and was very good. Also had a stewed beef, like a pot roast, where the meat was first used to flavor a sauce, then the meat is used for the next course; this was so tender and flavorful. Excellent service.

Ristorante con un ambientazione confortevole e una cucina rafffinata. Punto di forza e' la selezione della materia Prima di alta qualita' e la sua trasformazione. Completano il profilo, la panificazione, la pasticceria e la pasta fresca fatta in casa, in
It was raining the night we came here for dinner. Lucky to find a spot to park right infront of the restaurant. The place is new, nice and has a spacious extension with more tables. Relaxing ambience, soft lighting & no television on the wall, which is a plus. Service was a little slow. Waiters look sharp. We had a mix of fried appetizers which consist of vegetables and fish. Portion was small for the â¬14 price on it. We all decided to try their pizza. Mine was from their specials with yellow tomatoes, fiore di zucca, mozzarella, anchovies and lemon zest. It was really really good and i enjoyed it a lot. The rest of the 5 pizzas were also good. Also tried a couple of their desserts, portion was a bit small. Tasted ok. For drinks we had 3 liters of water, 2 beers and 4 limoncello. Paid a total of â¬135. Would come back.

Outside the touristic tour made of pizzas and other traditional restaurants you can discover a place where you can eat cod, called "baccalà ", served in different way. Baccalà or mussillo was originally imported in neapolitan tradition during Spanish domination of the XVII century but actually Neaples is one of the greatest consumer in Italy and in the world. Here you can taste in different way....fried...fresh....with tomatoes....with pasta genovese ....and you will never fed up. You can also choose good regional wine. Price are in line with quality served. Only 5 km or 10 minutes far from Capodichino Airport. Easily reachable using car. Thanks for the beautiful review.Best regards BiancobaccalÃ

"THE HOUSE HEATER - The Dad's Trattoria in Naples is an exciting place. The small size and the warm atmosphere keep the great love with which young chef Giovanni and his family prepare and serve simple and innovative, traditional dishes Refined. A small r
This place is a true experience. We drove past at 5.30PM and it looked closed. We called and they told us to come - and opened for us. There was washing hanging from the ceiling, no English menus and a little messy.. But the food was excellent and the welcome was so lovely. We had calamari starter followed by gnochi, pasta cabonara, grilled seafood and clam linguini. it was all delicious. The deserts were very good too. The chef was very accommodating and friendly. Great for a family meal. Good value. We would definitely return.
