Set in the beautiful Lune Valley, The Fenwick Arms reopened its doors in June 2013 and has never looked back, bringing with it the Seafood Pub Company's renowned gastro pub style with the highest in quality food from sea & land. Fish specialists & extreme
My partner and I had an early Sunday dinner at The Fenwick as a pre-cursor to my knee replacement surgery on Monday. We chose the seafood pate from the main menu and mackerel with berries from the fish specials menu. Both were delicious however we felt the seafood pate was the best option (lucky me as this was my choice). For main course my partner chose the lime marinaded swordfish steak, again from the fish specials menu whilst I opted for fish pie from the main menu. The latter was delicious however as a personal preference I would have like more fish and less potato topping. We finished off with 2 black coffees and a portion of naughty but nice chocolate and orange truffles to share. I had a couple which felt like a decadent treat. As always the staff were friendly, welcoming, helpful and attentive. Very definitely highly recommended.Thank you for such lovely comments made. We are all very pleased that you enjoyed your experience and hope to see you again soon.I will pass on the feedback on the fish pie.Thank youAdam

Whelans in Lytham is quite famous and has won awards and acclaim from top chefs Inc Rick Stein and Gordon Ramsey. Itâs Fish and Chips are excellent and are consistency good . You can sit inside and outside and the takeaway service is efficient and has a great selection. My favourite is the Scampi and also the fish bites. Fish bites are smaller pieces of cod or haddock if you donât fancy a whole fish. Itâs a little like the old days when you could ask for batter bits. All the usual accessories are available bread & butter , gravy and mushy peas. Great for a quick tea when you donât fancy cooking. Definitely try the Scampi though it is beautiful and the fries are lovely.

A traditional fish and chip take away with a modern stylish cafe with waiter/waitress service.
Picked Atkinsonâs for our last dinner in the UK - you haberdashery to have fish n chips at the seaside! Nice fish, well cooked and not greasy. Pies and scampi also nice and the chips were excellent. A very enjoyable meal.

Had this place recommended by a friend who had visited the area and so decided to visit too.Lovely resturant, overlooking the water. Friendly staff and good service. The food is all home produced, with fish dishes being the speciality. Ordered one of the specials, which was hake in a prawn and wine sauce. It came with a selection of fresh veg and new potatoes. It was delicious!Really lovely place and would highly recommend.
