Went there with a couple of friends as we were living locally for our holiday. First of all we had to WAIT FOR AGES for anyone to notice us. Asked to taste the house wine before ordering the drinks, the staff kept walking around ignoring us. Asked again a different waiter this time to try the WHITE HOUSE wine, got RED instead. Sent it back, after a while we got to try it, asked for ONE LITTER , got only HALF A LITTER. The misto fritto was average and the portion came small for a main course and the price. We had a delicious mussels and clams tomato and garlic soup with very good toasted bread, that was the best thing of the whole night. My main and my friend's one came before her bf's one and we also had to ask for cutlery TWICE. My friend's main course of pasta with clams only had FIVE clams in it (that's all she ate, the clams) and her boyfriend's white pizza with mushrooms was very soggy, we mostly picked at the mushrooms and the cheese as the dough was HALF RAW. I ordered the HORSE steak, got PORK instead. By the time my right order came my friends were done picking at their main courses..they took the steak knife back with the pork so I had to SAW at my OVERCOOKED steak with a regular knife, gave up after 5 min. The bill was â¬69, we complained about the quality of food and service and were still MADE to pay the service charge. Paid â¬70 and we WERE ACCUSED OF UNDERPAYING, I had to count the money in front of the customers queuing to pay, really embarrassing. BAD SERVICE, AVERAGE FOOD and BAD ATTITUDE!!!! AVOID. AVOID. AVOID!!!!!!

This is a very small, casual neighborhood seafood restaurant recommended to me by a neighborhood resident. We enjoyed dinner at this restaurant as the friend who recommended it ate here often. Pescheria Friggitoria has two small sections, one where the owner prepares the food and take out customers pickup their orders, the other section consists of five or six indoor tables. We enjoyed a variety of locally caught fish and calamari, bread, and wine. The house wine here is stored in two large vats and I observed customers bring in their own containers and fill with them with wine. The owner's father sat with us and advised the prior night he caught the fish we were enjoying. I like this little place as it is family owned and operated, it is casual, and the service was personal and timely.

Had previously enjoyed dining here but the last two experiences have been disappointing. The quality of the pizza has changed- the dough is tasteless and the ingredients are very scarse. The last pizza ordered was supposed to include buffalo mozzarella and zucchini flowers but I could only taste standard mozzarella (of the little cheese there was on the pizza) and counted barely four zucchini flowers. No longer value for money. Don't bother!

Very pleasant, lovely green garden. First idea "This is the place to make me to change the usual one, where I normally go" (I changed idea at the end!)I went at La Fontanella, invited by my daughter "I take you in a place where the steak is leaking fingers!" she said but, unfortunately, the horse from where come my steak must have been a hard working; not the most tender even if, I must say, tasty. Compliments to the sharp knife.Waiters: at "our service" three, no one fixed and that, I believe, no good for the attention.Nothing to say for the kindness but, why don't they have the badge with their name?The time of service? Two hours and half. Waited for someone to come to follow theorder, till I have to call a waiter passing by.One more doubt: the Mirto was a poor quantity or the ice cube to big?Next time: pizza!

A good attempt at recreating some of the more traditional decor & ambience of a Westernised Japanese restaurant with a good potential volume of customers being catered for which retracts from the usual intimacy of a sushi restaurant. A warm welcome by a very accomplished owner, possibly Korean? A very good standard of English was spoken & he was able to answer all of my questions, something that was required as the menu was only available in Italian. Thankfully, I already knew what I wanted, Miso soup, mixed Nigiri, 4 Salmon Nigiri & Takoyaki. The food was exactly as I had expected, although Iâm still not sure what the white fish Nigiri was as the helpful host only knew its Italian name. The sushi was well formed, ever so slightly smaller than in Japan & with no wasabi added during the prep. The Takoyaki was also smaller but very close to that which Iâve eaten in Osaka; I would add that the browning bed of lettuce it sat upon was a little disappointing & totally unnecessary.I must say, from the way people kept sneaking a peak at me, I may have been the first Englishman they had seen in a while.As virtually all of Cagliari is closed on a Sunday Iâm glad I came across KoKo on TA. Its proximity to my hotel was a real advantage & Iâm glad I bravely chose to takeaway my food, which sounds a little silly when read, but have you driven in Cagliari at night in a rental car on the, âwrongâ, side of the road recently? My only true gripe with the whole meal was the fact I was only given one satchet of wasabi.

Small and pleasant restaurant with very good food.Close to our hotel we found this small restaurant wich we visited several times during the week. The service was always nice with a minor language barrier wich never presented any problem. Fish and meat was equaly excelent and the prices reasonable. Worth a visit if you are in the neighborhood.

We visited the restaurant the first night we were here. The atmosphere is very friendly and all the food was well prepared and tasty. And then the staff, they were so nice. Highly recommended!
