A winding slate path through overhanging vines and tropical foliage leads to the historic 1840 Carriage house. Slowly spinning ceiling fans stir the aromas of French-New Orleans accented cooking and fresh seafood and steaks grilling over mesquite. Envisio
What an amazing dinner! Seated quickly even though we were early, waiter was great, ambiance was friendly and classy. Delicious appetizers -portobello mushroom bisque with bacon wrapped scallop was excellent, shrimp trio outstanding! Blackened salmon entree was spectacular and swordfish special was huge and very good. The waiter was super helpful with food allergies too. Highly recommend this wonderful restaurant! $120 before tip and worth it for sure.

A Cape May tradition for over 30 years! The nationally acclaimed Mad Batter Restaurant is located at the Carroll Villa Hotel in the heart of the historic district. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts and cocktails are served on the European-style front por
Usually love the Mad Batter but something was off when we were there last week. The bartender is great and the drinks delicious - try their home made bloody mary - the best. I had the crab cake for appetizer and scallops they both had a dollop of Russian dressing on them which was weird. My husband had the lobster bisque and seafood risotto - too much truffle and the risotto was a mound of rice. The service was good and the wine list is affordable.

Thereâs no savory delight quite like the culinary combination of seafood and steak. Why not treat yourself to the best of both at Oyster Bay Steak & Seafood Restaurant? We offer an astounding experience made memorable by our talented chefs and fast, frien
Came highly recommended and it certainly lived up to that accolade from the hotel staff. My wife and I enjoyed the Grouper entree at this upscale establishment where the service was spot on professional and attentive. While in Cape May this is a must stop for fine cuisine.

A friend recommended Lucky Bones for their pizza. It is thin crusted cooked in a wood fired oven and is delicious. We had a traditional pizza and a mushroom pizza, both amazing. The mushrooms were fresh and perfectly roasted. The Manhattan clam chowder was the best I ever had with a nice subtle smoky favor. In a beach town where many restaurants are overpriced with average food this place is a gem.

In the Spring of 1988 on the corner of Pacific and Spencer in Wildwood New Jersey, Letitia Negro opened a ten table restaurant known for "Home Cooking". The $9.95 three course price fix menu featured family favorites and "Made from the heart" cuisine. T
Tishaâs has always been a five star restaurant for my family and friends but our recent visit this past weekend left us very disappointed. We started with some excellent appetizers....their delicious fresh tasting calamari and an absolutely wonderful burrata salad with beets and heirloom tomatoes. So good that I will try and duplicate it at home. Entrees were definitely a problem. My wife got their special which was seafood pescatore . It was literally a huge plate of mussels in their shells. After picking the mussels out of the shells, there were literally just two shrimp and two scallops. I am not kidding you. For $32, this dish was appalling. My pork Marisa was not much better. It was described as a pork chop with apple brandy sauce and Gorgonzola crumbs. It was so devoid of flavor that I had to ask our waitress for more Gorgonzola. Luckily desserts helped end the night on a high note. Their flourless chocolate cake is one of the best weâve had and their key lime pie is the real authentic kind. Beyond the food though, our service was terrible; our waitress just disappeared. Plus it was so dark in the restaurant that every other table was using their flashlight app on the iPhone. I get that you want ambiance but turn the lights on. A disappointment for sure.

House specialties include local seafood, steak and pasta. The special board is always loaded with local favorites like baby lamb chops, crab imperial and more. The bread is made fresh daily and desserts are made in house. We are BYOB. We do have a childre
All home made, the desserts are great. Service was on spot. Parking is not a problem and the owners are the best.

Across from the ocean, this elegant dining room serves classic American food with a special touch. Union Park Dining Room received New Jersey Monthly Magazine's 2005 thru 2016 Critics Choice Award as one of the best restaurants in New Jersey. Working his
Went here during restaurant week 2019. The menu offered extensive choice in all three categories â that isnât typical of most participating restaurants. Yes, some of the items were smaller than the usual size when you are paying full price. But the ambience and taste were top notch. Started with the tuna tartare - very light. Diced tuna on top of seaweed salad on a single crisp taco. Small but well done. THe entree for me wasa lobstertail atop lobster rissoto. Delicious. Dessert was a fruit tart. Light as well.

The seafood we use is the freshest and locally caught. We offer mako, swordfish, flounder and scallops when in season from our local fishermen. We use only jumbo lump crabmeat. Saturday night our prime rib is certified black angus. All soups are made from
Weâve been to Menz several times with family (not my choice!). I do not understand the fascination with this place. The food is overpriced and nothing special. The service was spotty at best-as if they did not have sufficient waitstaff. The portions are decent but for the price should be more. The decor is very eclectic...like someone took an antique store and blended it with your crazy uncleâs taxidermy collection (do you really want a deer or moose mounted on the wall, staring at you as you eat?). The gift/candy shop was nice-kids and adults will get a kick out of the âpenny candyâ. I get it that this establishment is a long time fixture in Cape May County (hence the multiple pictures of FDR). I guess everyone needs to go once for the experience. Do so, and then move on. And try not to be freaked out by the two-headed goat.

A perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing lunch or an exciting night out after a day taking in the Jersey Shore's sun and sights. From the moment you step inside our doors you will feel the vibe that is distinctly Fins.
Just stopped in for something light and wound up ordering and sharing two appetizers. The fried calamari was very good, as was the lobster Mac and cheese. Both portions were very generous but a little too salty. Service was good, and ambiance pleasant with several large, beautiful fish tanks. Convenient location on the Washington Mall.
