Characteristic restaurant located in a local historic converted from a disused textile mill in the late nineteenth century. In which the ground floor is the restaurant pizzeria, and upstairs billiard room, slots room, darts soft and steel official race.

Family and I just moved into our house which is located close to this restaurant. Walked over for dinner and enjoyed their menu. It was a funny experience as no one spoke or understood English and we couldn't understand any of the menu. They were very patient with us and we all laughed and tying to communicate with each other. Great experience, good food, lovely staff and very reasonable prices. Will def return for more. Grazie!

First, this is not like American 'all you can eat' sushi where you order one dish at a time. The place gets very crowded, so order everything at the very beginning and it comes out as they finish making it! The all you can eat is only 20 euro and includes all food on the dinner menu. Also, the menu is not translated thoroughly for the ingredients. Some of it is, some of it isn't. But if you like nighiri, that's easy to recognize. If you like the classic american rolls, those are still called the same things. Maybe look up the name of your favorite sushi, so you don't have to look at the ingredient list. The food was very fresh, great quality, and while it came out slowly - that just kept th plates from crowding the table. The parking is horrid and all on side roads, so getting there early has that advantage too. Watch your step on the inside floor and admire the in ground fish tank! Neat little place and will definitely go back!

One of the benefits of living in Italy for three years are the excellent restaurants. When I left in 2002, the best one was this "one with the swans" as my 6 year old called it. Twelve years later, that restaurant is just as I remember it - elegant, inviting, excellent food and the same perfectly friendly owners I left those many years ago (and the swans are still there.) The menu changes regularly and is based on the freshest options available at the time - this evening I had the gnocchi in duck sauce and each bite reminded me of my regular visits from 1999 to 2002. We kept warm at a table by the fireplace, enjoyed the after dinner desserts and left with the satisfaction of knowing that some perfect places in life remain that same perfect place you remember. Buonissimo!

A beautiful location on the Livenza River in Sacile, Cellini is a perfect spot for a restaurant--its outside sitting on the river is picture perfect. The menu now is predominately pizza although there are a couple pasta & main course dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful--they are use to having Americans.A group of 7 of us went on a Sunday night and sit by the river, we all had pizza (7.50/8.00 Euros each) plus water, vino, prosecco, coffee, scorpinos. I found the pizza crust to be a little tough/hard to cut although did manage to eat it all.Total price was 108 Euros which was good value considering all that we had. It's a beautiful location in a great little town but there is better pizza to be found.

We were early, and sat outside on the patio, nursing our spritzers. When the kitchen opened we enjoyed the calamari as well as the shrimp and eggplant. Service was excellent and the food very tasty. Although the patio is adjacent to the street, there were virtually no cars and just a few pedestrians walked by. Good find.

We've been to Alla Trotta Blu three or four times over the past few years and we have always enjoyed the cuisine, as well as the friendly service. New owners took over this restaurant in December 2012 and unfortunately, I didn't enjoy my meal as much as in the past. The setting/location is stunning, situated among the green forests of Caneva and the Pedemontana and along a pond stocked with trout, which eventually end up on your dinner plate. The outdoor terrace, on a nice day, is a relaxing place to unwind and leave all stress behind. Ducks & geese float by and provide peaceful entertainment for all.The new owners made some design changes with new modern lighting fixtures and a fresh coat of paint. The entire dining room in windowed, affording views of the peaceful nature outdoors. Tables are draped with white table clothes and the service ware (plates & utensils) was satisfactory. The service provided by two young women was unpolished and not very professional. I believe they may be in the learning phase of waitressing. We were a group of four people on this Saturday evening and only one other couple showed up for dinner. The menu is extremely limited, offering a trout based tasting menu for 30 euro. There were also alla carte choices comprised of 3 antipasto dishes, three "primi" (pasta/soup) dishes and three entrees. I started with the white lasagna made with a trout ragu. The portion was small and had alternate green and white pasta layers with a cheesy bechamel. This was the best dish of my meal. Bravi! For my entree I had Trout Fish and Chips that were served rolled up in paper on a dinner plate. The fish was actually breaded and not batter dipped. The flavor was bland and unfortunately, the fried potatoes were soggy and mushy. The portion was of adequate size. I accompanied this with a side mixed salad that was fresh.I did taste samples from everyone else's meals and found nothing to be remarkable. The raw trout carpaccio was just that, small cubes of trout, mounded into three piles on a serving dish. No condiment and very little flavor. The grilled trout platters were unremarkable as well. We decided not to have dessert; however the dessert menu sounded tempting, having 6 or 7 different desserts to choose from.Prices were reasonable with antipasti, primi and entrees ranging between 9 to15 euro. There was also a beef dish available on the menu for people who don't want to eat trout. I don't know if Japanese Sushi is still available as the previous owner's wife was Japanese. Our meal, with two half liters of house wine, two bottles of water and two cafes totaled 105 euro. Upon paying our bill, we were offered complimentary glasses of homemade grappa. Alla Trota Blu is closed on Tuesdays and reservations can be made, though not necessary.

Called last minute and got ourselves a reservation on a Saturday night. This restaurant is beautiful. The server was very helpful and attentive. The food was absolutely amazing. This is definitely a special occasion restaurant as it was spendy, but it was worth every cent! Cannot wait to return and try something new!

Beside the restaurant they have 4 nicely decorated bedrooms. We spent 3 nights and had dinner at their restaurant every evening. Il Pedrocchino is a family run place and the service is excellent. They serve mainly seafood but on demand, they also serve some meat. They have one of the largest wine list I have ever seen and you should ask the owners ton show you the wine cellar.
