Reviews on Seafood food in Cambrils, Province of Tarragona, Spain. Cambrils has a well-deserved reputation as the culinary capital of the Costa Dorada. There is a veritable cornucopia of fresh local ingredients, ranging from fish and other seafood to the internationally acclaimed DO Siurana olive oil. Between the historic population center and the ports, life in Cambrils unfurls peacefully around beaches and promenades. Looking on as fishing boats glide into the harbor and discovering the Old Quarter are two of the many pleasures that await in this Catalan town.

When the owner cares about maintaining the high standards, it shows. The restaraunt is not a touristy place, but well worth walking an extra mile from the beachfront.Exceptional quality food. Aside from the menu, we were handed a handwritten list of today's specials. It's good to see that chef constantly looks what's good and fresh is on the market.Tasty food. Tuna steak was perfectly rare, as it should be.Gin&tonic prepared tableside was a surprise, and it was hands down the best G&T I've ever had.Portions are generous, but leaving a room for their desserts is a must - there's a huge selection, each one presented and explained by the waiter, and not only the visual presentation is amazing, the taste is great as well.Highly recommended!

Was recommended this place and not disappointed. There are many good places to eat in Cambrills behind the touristy front line and this is certainly one.I had their 3 course with wine set menu at â¬25 and really enjoyed a seafood starter and a main course of baked Turbot. My wife had a simple entrecote steak, cooked to "medium" perfection at â¬14. Being able to converse in Spanish made the experience more enjoyable and comfortable that might otherwise have been the case as there was minimal English spoken and a very Spanish/French crowd in that night - as is usual in Cambrils (fortunately most Brits stay up the coast in the much less attractive Salou!!

A nice enough restaurant with friendly staff, although there were some complications with ordering as the language barrier creates problems (asked for 2 x medium-rare steak but one came medium-well instead). Also asked for extra bread which never arrived. That been said the food was ok, although if you are a foodie you would be better at Restaurant Miramar in Cambrils.

Found this cook shack on the Cambrils beach, close to where the local Plana buses stop before looping back towards Salou. Their tapas selection was ideal for a brunch, and language wasnât an issue when the menu sufficed. The waiting staff seemed to have their own agenda, but it didnât really matter, as the food was nicely presented and tasted very fresh.

We had dinner at this place, attracted by the cusina gallega, the nice settings and the well displayed «Certificate of Excellence ».The food was on average good (but their pulpo alla gallega was somewhat disappointing, fat and no potatos). The service was really substandard, by any standard. The waiter (and, to a lower extent, the lady from Galizia that seemed to be the boss) was quite rough. Impatient, unfriendly, occasionally rough, no « thank you » for a fully undeserved small tip.Would we ever go again in a place like this? Surely not.muchas gracias por su opinion

The Miramar restaurant in Cambrils is a traditional seafood cuisine, culinary tourism pioneers, whose tradition dates back to 1957. Located in a privileged area next to Torre del Port de Cambrils, it offers amazing views of the sea and the port. The restau

We had the gourmet set menu and were looking forward to this experience based on the reviews on TripAdvisor! But I have to say i was not pleased.Yes they tried and yes they had some nice items (lobster, oyster, fish, squid), but it lacked passion. Seemed to me that they tried to hard to make it look good and forgot about the taste. But I might be wrong as most people is happy about this place. None the less, wasn't worth â¬60 PR person (inc wine and tips).

Restaurant DORADO since 1960 the most recommended of the gold coast for its wide variety of paellas, rice , fresh fish and seafood..The best collection of wines .
We are not that keen on restaurants with photographs as the menu generally, but the choices are quite poor in this yobbish destination. The service was efficient if brusque. We very much enjoyed our meal, but the wine reccomendation (Dordo House wine) was poor. Worth a try.
