Espero volver.

Restaurant located in the monumental area of ââCambados, a few meters from the Plaza de Fefiñanes, with a large dining room on the 2nd floor, where you can enjoy a letter of meticulous presentation with fresh products and our land, accompanied by a letter
This is the first time I have found such a scam in Cambados, completely overprice restaurantdirty cutlery (cheapest from Ikea), very small portions (Canarian style octopus = half leg), 7 -8 calamari rings (with taste of Padron peppers) and Padron peppers with fish taste.I will never come back

Ribadomar is a nice, cozy, elegant restaurant in Cambados. It looks expensive, but its not. Me and my husband had a house's speciality, 'lubina al horno' (I'm not sure about the spelling). I can tell u that it was really good and for dessert, we ordered a mix of various sweets, all very good. Its a very good place for seafood. I recommend it.

We were really lucky to find here, just picking at random. The inside of the restaurant looks quite Portuguese, with beautifully tiled walls, big heavy wooden furniture and amazing lamps hanging from the ceiling. The table linens were beautiful too. There was an extensive menu of meat and fish with salads too. Lots of choices of wine also available by the glass. I had beefsteak tomato with tuna mayonnaise as a starter which was delicious and which would have been enough. Then came a whole sea bass Galician style ie with paprika and potatoes. This was beautifully cooked and the spuds in particular were delicious. My husband had a steak and freshly cut and cooked chips, again another huge portion. Decent enough coffee, a couple of beers and a large glass of wine came to about â¬50. Not bad when it really would have fed 4 people!

If you can ever call Cambado touristy that is. This restaurant we found in a side street. It definitely did not look like there was going to be a restaurant at the end of this road. Loved the cigales they served as a starter. Loved the main course which was fish done in a traditional way a la zarzuela. And I loved the way this seemed to be a Family business with several generations in it and the more senior seem to know their stuff. I caught a glimpse of them working away. The decor is also pleasant and traditional. They have put effort into that. It is the kind of restaurant you will take the Family for a nice outing for Sunday lunch.

We arrived in Cambados and it is a very attractive town. We parked in the square and strolled through the old buildings selling albarino, lunch etc. Made our way to Tourist Office who were great and having checked my colleagues in Tripadvisor we plumped for Casa Pintos. The tourist office guy gave us directions and we headed off in need of a nice lunch and some local wine. The premises is basic and clean but as Chris Rock is apt to point out 'you don't get points for just doing what you're supposed to do anyway'. The menu was more basic but I chose some fish which came with chips. There it is 'fish and chips'. The fish was presented as it was caught just grilled and the chips were chips. Again no prizes for that. My partner did not fancy anything substantial on the menu so she settled for a salad. A mountain of ordinary lettuce covered the plate sparsely topped by half a tomato and a few pieces of onion. Completely unappetising. She left half of it which drew quizzical words from the woman who served it to us. Very ordinary and a disappointment after the excellent reviews on this site.

Situated right next to the Parador at Cambados, this restaurant is close to the seafront. The owner is a friendly character who had us in fits of laughter, firstly naming the lobsters we had selected from the tank and then "crying" over his "departed friends" when they were served to us. A range of fresh (not frozen) fish is on display each day along with other dishes and tapas. Doesn't have the rather crowded, frantic feel of the many other restaurants in the town. Worth a visit.
