Hidden away in Palm Court, O'Cha Cha Japanese Dining & Tea offers quality, healthy, reasonable and authentic Japanese cuisine in warm and inviting surrounds.
Excellent Japanese food, very friendly service, excellent quiet atmosphere for dinner and cosy in a hot summer day.The teriyaki crocodile don is delicious! and ditto the tatsuta fried baramundi..both are highly recommended and very fulfilling, we wished we had bigger appetite! Also, please make the soymilk pudding portion bigger, it is very addictive.. :)We will definitely be back again when we visit Cairns next time!

Stopped here for an impromptu Sunday lunch and had a glorious table overlooking the marina. Food was superb but the service lacked a little: 1. No offer to taste the wine before pouring the bottle2. When the waitress put my plate of oysters on the table, the mini bowl of dipping sauce fell over so I lost half my sauce and there was no offer to replace it with a full bowl.Otherwise, the food was tasty and excellent value.

We enjoyed our dinner here. Service was friendly, though occasionally distracted. We had to attract their attention a couple of times during our visit. Food was quite good. Well prepared and flavorful. Prices were a bit high, but not too bad compared to similar restaurants in the area. We enjoyed our meal here and would return.

Chose The Raw Prawn due to it's location, menu selection, previous reviews and their laid back approach to the kids.We had a mixed grill platter which was plentiful as well as the lobster rolls. Our daughter had kids calamari. Everything was deliciously tasty. In addition to the food, the cocktail we had was perfect. And the customer service was on point. Don't bother going elsewhere, this is the place to go!

Based on the great reviews and close proximity to our hotel, we popped in to Piato for dinner. Great location, atmosphere and service. Food was fresh and delicious. The octopus was cooked perfectly in the Greek tradition â nice and soft. Loved the arancini balls and sardines, but the stand-out dish for us was the prawn saganaki â fantastically tasty. Enjoyed a side of Mediterranean vegetables too.*Note that sitting under the ceiling fan was uncomfortably too cool for us on this particular night, but unfortunately there wasnât alternative seating available nor are the fans individually controlled.Dear GardengirlThank you so much for your review we are happy that you enjoyed the Piato experience. As for our fans these belong to the centre and are not individually controlled but you have given us food for thought to take it up with centre management.Kind RegardsElie

Located at picturesque Cairns, Marlin Marina. Fresh & Local seafood off the trawler. PRAWN STAR - PRAWNS- " A TASTE YOU'LL NEVER FORGET " !!
This is a fabulous experience for lovers of fresh seafood. My husband and I shared the 2 tier platter which really was enough for 3 people. BUT we did it justice! Couldn't fault anything on the platter - bugs, prawns, sushi salmon, oysters - no fillers like chips. The experience is enhanced by sharing a table with other travellers. Be sure to start a conversation and the response will add to the overall experience of dining here. We sat with 2 American attorneys. One from California, the other from Florida. A lovely Israeli couple and a young man from India. Don't miss this experience. It truly is special. Make sure you go well before 8pm or you might not get in...it's busy! It was located at Finger D of the pier when we dined in October.

This seafood restaurant is located on the water front so has great views over marina. Waiters friendly. Ordered crab bruschetta to share as entree, waiter forgot to put order through so a little disappointed never got to try it but hey ho things happen. Ordered salt & pepper calamari with side salad & 4 chilled king prawns. The prawns were amazing & huge, the salad fresh yet the calamari was really unpalatable as too much pepper it caused a burning sensation at the back of my throat. Friend had red emperor, which she said was delicious ...guess it just wasnât my night!! Would go back but chose something different
