We found ourselves looking for lunch when visiting Buyukada, and picked this place on a whim. Despite the amazing views, food was really mediocre. I opted for the salmon, which was underseasoned, overcooked and wasn't deboned. My partner chose the kofte which were really nothing special. On my visit to Princes Island.. there were many restaurants. However, i chose to eat at this one and was pleasantly surprised. I had the grilled fish which was perfectly prepared and tasty. The price also was welcomed. The waiters were friendly and quite pleasant.

Appalling staff attitude, surly and bored. Food was really poor. The salad had brown lettuce leaves that looked like they were several days old. The fish was over cooked and tasteless. It's very expensive and massively over-priced. There are much better restaurants on this stretch of the front.

The food is not very cheap and nothing special either, except that the menu shows different pictures than the ones used by many neighboring restaurant, which indicates a little originality after all. Positive: You the slices of bread are big and you get a tea on the house. Waiters will recommend the fresh fish of the season.

I went to Heyamola because it seemed like the most decent, family friendly restaurant. Even though there weren't too many people there, the food was very fresh. The mezzes are a must try.... beautiful! And the fish was good and very very fresh. The service was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. They had been sweet enough to even think of stocking hand cream and sanitary pads in the ladies' washroom! .... I was most pleasantly surprised. If I was ever in that island again, I'd definitely go there again

Its nearby the sea, perfect view. They serve you in peace and service was extremely good and satisfactory. The taste of mezes and main fish were very delicious and presentation of food was more than I expected. The have reasonabke prices with high quality. The one and only.
This terrace restaurant offers a nice view of the nearby Heybeliada island as well as the shore of Istanbul with the Bosphorus.Tables are clothed, service is extremely kind and attentive. Food is very good, turkish meat and seafood specialties with moderate prices. Discrete acoustic guitar Turkish ballades in the background. Overall, very romantic and relaxing. Highly reccomended.

Buyukada is not known for its food. That said, the experience of taking a fayton (horse carriage) through the forests and gorgeous houses to the far side of the island is a fun experience, and once you arrive here you are rewarded with tasty eats and gorgeous views over the cliff on which this restaurant sits. Service was good; food was solid, casual grilled Turkish food (not particularly memorable and not my favorite on the Prince's Islands, but not bad either); prices are average; but the setting is really what brings you here. The kofte was pretty good. And a word to the wise: don't believe the fayton drivers who take you here from the harbor and tell you that you have to pre-arrange a double-priced ride back with them after you eat - there is actually a carriage stand very near the restaurant that the waiters will call for you when you decide to return.

This is a delightful seaside restaurant in Princess Island. Being a vegetarian, I was wondering what would I be able to eat since most of the lunch seemed based on seafood. However, we were pleasantly surprised about the veggie options that were provided including pasta with tomato paste. It was bland but they made the effort to provide it. Hats off.Fish is stored in tanks outside the restaurant and customers can choose the one they want and its cooked.
