Went mid week at the end of March. It was closed early evening so had fish and chips for lunch the next day instead. I had a small portion which was more than enough and cooked fresh to order. It was excellent - I will be definitely be having this again in future.

We had a fantastic dinner at Longs this evening. The fish and chips was perfect, really delicious and not too heavy at all. One of the best fish and chips we had in a long time. The service was impeccable, both ladies were so friendly and professional. We highly recommend this place, thank you.

An Outdoor Seafood Kiosk With Seating For 40 People Selling Fresh Fish Caught Locally On Our Own Boat
Like so many of the restaurants around West Bay harbour it is amazing that such good food in such large volumes can be served from a small galley kitchen space. On our visit Catch of the Day was very busy, coinciding with this years West Bay Day. We have tried to visit Catch of the Day on a number of occasions over the last few years, often poorly timing our arrival when food is running low or it is closed. Seeing all the activity and reading all the Trip Advisor reviews we were determined to eat here during our week stay.Must admit we were ever so slightly disappointed; whilst the fish & seafood was fresh & well cooked, the chips were undercooked and the bread in the sandwiches dry. It seems wrong that in a location that prides itself on the freshness of its seafood that many of the childrenâs meals were brought in pre-prepared frozen. Chicken nuggets I understand, but surely not fish?!?Yes they were busy; clearly overwhelmed with orders and harassed with customer demands. A victim of their own success. On this occasion a four out of five, I have no doubt that we could visit on another day when they are less busy and it would be a five out of five review. Another seafood success story in West Bay.

Called in here following a walk along the beach and over the cliffs and wanted some seafood. Spoilt for choice with the fish specials on the board, I could quite happily have eaten any of them. We opted for the seafood curry with pak Choi and cashews and as my husband has a nut allergy they made sure his was nut free. It was delicious, we added a bit more salt but apart from that it was perfect. Not too spicy to over power the flavour of the fish but gave a lovely warming finish. We would definitely have this again if itâs on the menu. Staff were friendly, happy to help and have service with a smile. Weâve eaten here many times before and Iâm sure we will in the future.Thank you so much for your feedback. It's great to hear that after many visits you are still enjoying the wide range of seafood we offer. The Balinese fish curry from the specials board had been incredibly popular, and it may become a permanent fixture on our specials board. We have a great front of house team who will also be pleased to read the comments about their friendly, smiley and happy service. Thanks again, and I look forward to welcoming you back to the West Bay.

Called in here on the off chance. Pleasant indoor cafe with additional outside seating. Serve beer, wine and cider. Had their large cod and chips, big mistake as left no room for bread and butter pudding. Generous portion of chips and mushy peas to boot. Would definitely recommend Well priced meals.

Will always make a visit when in the area.Till next time !Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it :)Best wishesRoss
