Described in The Sunday Telegraph as 'The Best Beach Café in the World', Billy's on The Beach is a fully licensed beach cafe with fantastic views, just along the beach from East Wittering with good parking, great staff, and tasty beachside food. Everythin
Always a very friendly and welcoming service by the team. Even when they are really busy. Lovely food, always hot and happy to accommodate requests by little ones to change the menu :-) Fast service and a relaxing environment. The only downside (which is outside of the owners control). There are often people camping in the car park for the morning sea views. Which means there can be lots of rubbish, smells from people cooking breakfast (not always pleasant) and washing hanging everywhere. It is a real shame.

The Fox & Hounds offers great pub meals and bar snacks in relaxed surroundings. Situated in the charming village of Funtington, near Chichester. Boasting a large selection of well known and not so real ales, great wines and a well stock bar, large garden,
I could have headed this 'ladies who lunch', as several of the small number of diners present on the day we visited came into that category; but it's a comfortable venue for everyone, regardless of age or gender. We were swiftly offered drinks and given menus, and had no trouble settling on the liver and bacon as our main course. It came with a modest amount of mashed potato and a good serving of lentils in sauce. We were pleased the serving wasn't too big so that we could enjoy it.We then both had the tarte tatin with ginger ice-cream, topped with one of those little orange physalis things, and very good it was too. This isn't a really cheap place to eat, but the bill was not excessive and we felt it was good value for the quality of the food. Recommended.Nice rested customers with no complaints about the food is exactly what we like to hear.We look forward to seeing you again the next time you dine with us.

Worm and friendly pub/restaurant. Dog friendly. Great selection of drinks and food. Games room with pool table and games machine. Amazing back garden with outside bar. Two open fire places within the pub. Car park on site.
We called in for a snack lunch, wanting only a sandwich or similar. The sandwiches were expensive at £8.50 each, for what you got, and were made with overly thick doorstep bread slices, that made them difficult to eat. Otherwise, a nice friendly little pub.Hi Sally,Thank you for your feedback. The reason for the bread being thick is we hand carve our artisan bread. I hope that for your £8.50 you also received the chips and side salad that also comes for the total price. We hope you do pop in again and try another meal with us.

Our passion for local produce at the Crown and Anchor is at the heart of everything that we do. In order to bring you the freshest possible seafood, we write a daily menu dictated by what our local boats have landed that morning. Whether it be Dover Sole,
Visited this pub for the first time in a while and had a very pleasant evening meal. The place was very busy - this is not the place to turn up on the off chance of getting a table. Luckily we had booked well in advance. There was a very nice atmoshere here with a live guitarist which added to the overall experience. The menu is not as extensive as some but the emphasis here is on quality local ingredients and there is something here for everyone - plenty of good local seafood for example. Service was efficent although the gap between starters and main was fairly long. They also had only one real ale available on the evening which was disappointing. The food itself was plantyful - the fish and chips especially so - very generous portion of fbattered fish and very light batter. The burger was very tasty but could have benefitted fron a small additional salad with it as standard - it came on a large plate with just fries which just a salad garnish would have added to. The pearl barley vegetarian risotto was very nice but over-salted which my wife commented on after the meal. Something to work on.Overall though a good local venue using local ingredients - we would return.Thank you for your recent visit and for sharing your feedback and review, which I will discuss with the team.We hope to welcome you again soon at Dell Quay.
