Reviews on Seafood food in Bonifacio, Corsica, France. Corsica is a weird and wonderful island, replete with gorgeous beaches and breathtaking mountains. Bonifacio, a harbor city on the southern tip, is rich with history. Check out the prehistoric Araguina-Sennola caves and the Genoese towers, and be sure to take the train through the mountains to the beach—a spectacular adventure. Biking, hiking, rafting and diving are popular activities.

A great evening for a birthday. A bit of a kerfluffle finding our reservation, but very gracious from then on. Good help from David and Morgan. Nice drinks and wine. Fabian explained the menu and we split his grandmother's Trio as an appetizer. For dinner the fish of the day specialty, risotto, and pasta with clams were superb. Deserts were fantastic. Service great with an extra birthday surprise. Well done you guys!
When spending half a day at Bonificia (recommend to get up early before all the busses etc. arrive) we found ourselves hungry during lunch time. After strolling down the pier we came across this little place with no one seating. At a first sight we thought, ok letâs see what happens. We tell you, best fish platter of our stay in Corsica. Very friendly staff, very nice store/restaurant inside a cave and very nice view on the marine harbour. We have chosen to go for the oyster platter in combination with an other shellfish platter containing shrimp, langoustine and home made mayonaise. Donât be alarmed if there is no one sitting there. But please, if you choose a pizza restaurant, just a ferry ticket to Sardegna and have a pizza there!

We brought our parents as a treat. Overall the restaurant is beautifully presented and the staff were very attentive however the food was disappointing and grossly overpriced. We ordered the sardines to start and the salmon. The sardines were â¬25 and came in the can literally the chef just partially opened the tin and then served them with some chrunchy bread. The salmon gravalax was fresh and nicely presented. The meal went a bit strange from here. Three of the group ordered local fresh fish which was charged by weight. There three plates cost a whooping â¬280. It wasn't even amazing. I ordered the seafood pasta which was less expensive but underwhelming to eat as the seafood was over cooked. The desserts were a vast improvement but overall when you spend over â¬500 for a meal for four people with only two bottles of wine you expect the quality of food to be better. It was disappointing for the price.

Gatronomic restaurant proposing from fresh products in short circuits and a garden in permaculture, a gourmet Menu dedicated to the pleasure of epicureans. The specialty of the house is the Royal lobster from Bonifacio flambé with whiskey.
My wife and I chose this restaurant based on TA ratings and its proximity to our hotel in upper Bonifacio. It exceeded our expectations. We each ordered 2 first courses - fish carpccio and then foie gras. They were delicious and so artfully presented! We enjoyed a crisp Corsican white wine. Service was friendly and professional. It was a fantastic lunch. Very highly recommended.

Went for a meal last night after being told about it by our hostess Sylvie at Villa Madra...The meal was very rustic but amazing we had a mixed fish salad to start followed by a fruiti misto sharing platter of over twenty fish and Crustacea caught that day by the dad cooked by the mum and served by the son!!!Truly amazing!!Don't however forget as I did to take cash as they don't take cards... A minor problem though as it gives us a chance to go back this evening and watch the sunset on the beach and sample more of their produce!!!Definitely a five star!!!

This looked a very promising location for a romantic nightâs dinning. However despite arriving around 7:30 pm we found the rest of Bonifacio had made the same decision, and after being shown to our reserved table we waited 45 minutes for our order to be taken. Bread had to be asked for, the response from the waitress being âI was about to get it anywayâ. When it arrived it appeared to be stale. The food itself was good, however by the time it arrived the ambience was not.

Corsican sea food.
We found this place just by the occasion. Did not plan to go there as we had very limited time. Ordered small fishes plates for 9 Euro and got our meals literally in few minutes. Everything was so fresh - like just a moment out from the sea. Absolutely delicious. Food prepared impeccably. The taste, aroma and serving - just wonderful. We wish greatest possible success to this place in spite of the fact restaurant is really small - just few tables to seat in.ÐлаÑÑное недоÑогое меÑÑеÑко ÐºÐ°ÐºÐ¸Ñ Ð¼Ð°Ð»Ð¾. ÐÐÐÑÐµÐ½Ñ ÑекомендÑÑ!
