Welcome to Russellâs Fish & Chips. The Crew under the watchfull eye of the Fishy Skipper and the The Admiral of the Fleet have been busy dragging in the nets of fish from the deepest seas. We look forward to seeing lots of new faces and a warm welcome awa
Lovely fish and chips in a clean and friendly atmosphere . Located in the centre of this popular tourist destination. A little more pricey than fish shops in some areas but this is better than most fish and chip restaurants . Alternatives to fis( available. well worth a visit and cheaper than some of the surrounding village restaurants.

We stopped here on a recommendation and weren't disappointed. The kids had a smaller portion, which the staff were happy to do, and we had a lovely cod and chips. Definitely recommend.

Distinctive, addictive and unlike anywhere else in the Cotswolds, Hook takes dining at the Fish into new and uncharted waters. The vision of Farncombe Estate's culinary director Martin Burge, the restaurant is a laid back but luxurious celebration of seaf
We visited for dinner during a short stay near Broadway. The hotel and restaurant are up very long driveway which is well signed. However on arrival at Hook the car park on the restaurant side is entirely unlit and quite difficult to locate the entrance to the restaurant (it was a very wet and dark night). The restaurant seemed understaffed. We were kept waiting ages to be seated. There were also very young babies and children (at 9-10pm) which we found unsuitable. At that time I donât want noisy children when Iâm eating. The place is quite noisy and style over substance. The service was very slow and we waited over 30 minutes for our starter. The cheese soufflé wasnât a proper, classic soufflé and contained flour (which wasnât advertised on the menu!) when we raised this the waitress was quite disrespectful, pulling a face when she walked away. The salt cod starter was over salted and not very nice. The Halibut main was ok but weâve bought better quality fish from our local fish van in Cobham. All in all, not our best meal in the area. I'm sorry to hear that your recent experience with us, left you feeling disappointed. I will make sure that the issues you have raised are looked into so that we can learn from this. I do feel I must clarify that we are a family friendly hotel so we do always accommodate children when they are dining with their family. If you wish to discuss this in more detail, then please feel free to send me an email to [email protected] Kind RegardsKyle Restaurant Manager
