Joe's Fish Shack is right on the water at Fremantle wharf area and the friendly, professional staff are always attentive to your needs. The range of Seafood available and the quality is definitely worth the visit. Highly recommend this place for either lunch or dinner.
This is not just a take away, tables and chairs are provided with music in the back ground. The staff are courteous and the place is very clean and welcoming. The range of seafood is great and the fish is always of a high standard and fresh. The portions are generous
I think these people do the best fish & chips south of the Swan river. I can't vouch for their burgers and I haven't tried them but the grilled Dhufish is to die for - not cheap but worth the extra money.
Family owned business who source their fish from their own boats apparently. Fish and chips are always great quality, clean oil, good quality fish, fast service. Also easy location to grab your fish and chips and hook down to the river with your glass of whatever your poison is.

The original fish pub and leader of the pack, dishing out great beer, tasty treats and fine music since 1996. This true Fremantle icon has been a destination for many a year, welcoming families, corporates, hipsters and all-comers, through the doors of th
Very casual, live music nights, food is average but the menu has a range of seafood, fish & chips always a safe bet. The "mice" are great as an appetiser (very, very hot spicy!). The Clancy's house white is excellent value. Outdoor eating area at back and the kids can run around in the adjoining park. Smoking corner under front verandah. Always jolly (backpacker?) staff.Hi HarryThanks for your feedback. Good to hear you had a great experience and enjoyed your meal!ThanksMadi DunneManagerClancy's Fish Pub Fremantle
Where to eat Australian food in Bicton: The Best Restaurants and Bars

Aside from the stunning location this was a very enjoyable dining experience. Food was interesting with an obvious heavily focused seafood theme, every dish was well liked by our group of nine. My only criticism was that service was a little slow, especially early on when the restaurant was fairly quiet. Be sure to arrive before dusk to see an amazing sunset.

Char Char Restaurant + Bar overlooks the beautiful Fishing Boat Harbour and provides one of the few full service dining experiences in the area. Renowned for some of the best Steak in all of Perth, there is also a great selection of other items including
For a recent birthday lunch we visited CharChar on the waterfront in Fremantle. Set between two famous casual dining fish restaurants it was perfect, just a bit more refined without being too expensive. The friendly staff were efficient, friendly & their service was good. The food was enjoyed by all, the standout dish was the seafood platter to share. The crab & prawn spaghetti was delicious. Choices for all dietary requirements.Char Char has recently had a revamp & has a very comfortable lounge/bar area to relax in & enjoy the passing crowd.Parking in front for guests is an added bonus.

We had fish and chips at Red Fish after hearing and reading how good it was. Was it good? Yes it was but definitely not fantastic, fish portions were good but expensive. Chips were fantastic and well cooked, the fish was a little greasy. We will go back but it is a long way from the best fish and chips we have had. The service was very good and friendly.

We attended this establishment following many recommendations and we were not disappointed.Located in a older building with outside or inside seating and a very good atmosphere ensured a good start to the evening. The table service was exceptional with each of the servers obviously enjoying their work which created the right environment for a good dining experience. The menu, which apparently changes constantly depending upon availability of produce, was very enticing and made choices challenging because they all looked so good.We choose dishes and shared them which meant that we had a very good taste of everything and they were all up to a very high standard in terms of freshness, presentation and most importantly, taste. The lamb and fish mains were the pick of the dishes however they were all very good. The wine list although not extensive still offered a good range of local and international products at reasonable costs.Cost wise overall whilst it is at the higher end, there is value is the entire dining experience and this venue is recommended.

I was pleasantly surprised by the food service and presentation, next to none. I had the Groupon voucher and the three course meal provided was tasty, large and a la carte. The views from the restaurant are breathtaking. Service with a smile was deeply acknowledged.
