By far, the finest food in Italy. The restaurant is located in a lush green area in San Polo di Enza. We were staying in MIlan and took a nice drive to Mamma Rosa's Restaurant. The Restaurant is in a beautiful easy to find location surrounded by trees, Inside is lovely, elegant, and a very romantic setting. We were greeted warmly, and the service was superb, really the finest I personally have ever experienced., With the fabulous chef, Antonio coming out to greet us. So friendly and nice! The food, is out of this world. I was in a group of seven, and I think we tasted most everything on the menu, ordering several dishes each! Rare Beautiful dishes, I never knew existed, and have not seen since. The seafood tasted like it had been caught moments before, it was so fresh. You will taste delicacies that you will not forget. The squid, octopus, risotto etc etc were all fabulous. Everything from the sea you can even imagine! The desert. OMG, delicious. With a wide range of seafood on the menu, you will be in heaven and you will wish your stomach was ten times it size...to try everything. If you are in Italy, it is worth the trip to Mamma Rosa Ristorante. I cant wait to return, and it is a short drive to many of the more well known tourist cities.

The restaurant interior is a vaulted ceiling area and has a lovely outside area under canopies, unfortunately they don't work in heavy rain as customers found out the day we ate there.Service was a little slow due to numbers eating,it was full and they had to accommodate the people outside when the thunderstorm broke.Food was average but service was very slow.

We were hungry at lunch but didnât want a heavy, complicated ristorante type A-Z meal. Since we were in the neighborhood we found RPMLL. What a treat! Foccacia to start, with a cipolla topping. Excellent salad, fantastic pizza: perfect crust, exceptional sauce, highest quality mozzarella... fine quality olive oil and tasty balsamic vinegar... chased down with local Lambrusco. Topped off with lemoncello and an unbelievable cherry liquor which we were informed was 42% alcohol. The interior is a bit tacky. Donât let that put you off. Hungry? Go! Closed Mondays.

This restaurant is located in the small town of Montecchio. It moved around a year ago from the original Red Lion site to a new larger location on top of a shopping centre just 2 minutes down the road. It feels a little Chinese as you approach with the Red Lion theme, a large rising or setting sun mural on the wall and even a lantern style lamp illuminating the outside seating area. But once inside it's unmistakably Italian. Our group all opted for the huge metre long pizza's mostly accompanied by beer which is a good thing as the beer selection is huge, varied and excellent. The pizzas were huge, magnificent and full of flavour. I'm sure the full menu is also good but on pizza and beer alone this is a 5 star establishment. Service was also friendly and efficient.

Promosso a pieni voti.

Went here as part of our cooking class and met the chef and assisted in preparing our lunch. Luckily he was heavy handed in the work and the result was spectacular. I have never had such a great meal and the setting was also perfect. If you are in the area, you must go.Thank you for the beatiful review. You are Welcome. Best Marcella

Beware of coming late without reservation. This place is crowed even on normal weekdays. Whis is obviously because of the quality of their kitchen, moderate prices and excellent food. Very few tourists here. This is a place for the locals. You do not come very far, if you do not speak any Italian. But even then: Just go ahead and point on something on the menu and have a try of whatever you are served afterwards. It will be excellent, I promise.Avoid the place if you are looking for a quiet and romantic dinner for two. The place is for eating only. No pizza, either.
