We were family of 6 out to eat early dinner...we were abit late for Paella...they dont serve after lunch hours:).. so we didnt sample the dish that was taking us there. We ordered other dishes to share....one of us ordered a beef steak...it was to almost impossible to chew...chicken wings for kids among other dishes. To my surprise the kids didnt enjoy the wings as they all tasted fishy....fishy like every meal was tasting fish...not so impressed at all. We are sorry to read your comment, we intuit that you would arrive from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., it is the time that we do not offer rice.Regarding the problems he tells us he had with the batters, we would have been grateful that he had told us to change the dish at that time and not reach this disappointment.We always work with first quality products and never mix the oils or batter.

Wow!We always visit Ray's 3 times a year, I don't usually have fish due to not being keen on fish.This time I thought I would give it a go and I wasn't disappointed, the batter was so tasty and fish was perfect, washed down with a glass of wine, a proper chippy.

We fancied a change from our All inclusive hotel food. So stopped by at Rays very friendly staff nice and clean.Our fish & chip meal was well worth the money big portions cooked to order lovely and tasty proper chips nice white fish, and the batter was excellent. peas tasted like the ones you get at home. Great mug of tea or if you fancy beer or cocktail. What I also liked it was served on hot plates. Do go we loved it. And reasonably priced too.Thank you for really great review June and Steve

As the title says was our 2 best meals of the holidays, missed this when searching for local places and it caught our eye when walking past so decided on a whim to go in, first impressions were good, lovely deco, the owner greeted us and gave us a choice of tables and made us feel very welcome, we were hungry so ordered starters (prawns were superb) and then home made lasagne for main, eyes bigger than belly but well worth it, second time went with pizza and the missus had the lamb which she devoured reluctantly sharing a small morsel with me. If there day off was not Wednesday we would have visited a third time, it really is that good.

the seafood was amazing, fresh, crispy and just lovely. The service was very friendly and quick. Food was made very quickly and we were very pleased. we ordered tapas and it was just soooo good, other time we ordered dish and it was also lovely.... thank you very much and I hope we will come back some time.Highy reccomended.

Having read the excellent reviews previously, we booked weeks in advance of our arrival and were not disappointed. Wonderful food, fabulous hosts! This little restaurant is tucked away in the Old Town, weâd never have found it without google maps. Our only disappointment was we couldnât go again during our stay as they were fully booked each night. We will make sure we are more organised next time we visit Benidorm so we can experience more than just one night here. Communication by email is really speedy too!
