Some restaurants put you off, at first, by seemig disorganised. You should overcome this impression when you arrive at the bustling Anchor Restaurant -- it's got terrific food and a well-managed staff. Walk to the back, and sit on the terrace with your feet practically in the water. Then order the fish of the day, and a pile of mezedes to get you started. All of it will be fresh, delicious, and served with grace and care. The sea bass was perfectly cooked, and served with a pile of fresh vegetables. Enjoy all of this with the sun on your face (if you want it) and the wind in your hair. The Anchor is to revisit again and again -- it will soothe your tired nerves.

Since my first review in May we have visited several times again at lunchtime. Each visit the experience just gets better. Mehmet is a perfect host and his staff efficient and professional. The food is very good and yesterday we choose the Fixed menu paying slightly more to have Garlic Prawns for the main. For 90TL you get 12 Cold Mezes, 4 hot Meze and a main dish served with a bowl of salad to share and chips. The choice for the main course can be either Sea Bream, Sea Bass, Kofte, Moussaka [meat or veg], Chicken sis. Followed by a local Dessert which is so good. I must ask the name of it next time! The location is fab sitting by the sea enjoying a cold beer and chilling out.

This was the nearest restaurant to our Hotel. We were staying for a week and alternated our evening meals bewteen the Hotel and here. The location is lovely and every time we were sat immediately overlooking the sea.There was a good menu which was varied and well priced. The staff were very accommodating in letting us have our pre dinner drink while preusing the Menu.Highly recommended.

We ate lunch here on our last day in Cyprus. He service was polite, but not rapid (nearly 2 hors for 2 courses). The view over the harbour is excellent.The food was variable: my fish soup starter was excellent, delicate and full of flavour. Partnerâs calimar stuffed with cheese and prawns was probably something that shouldnât have seen the light of day. Mains were fine, nice lamb chops, though the squid I had was rather over-cooked and chewy.To some extent, one pays for the view â and thatâs OK.

My wife and I stopped here the other night, the 85TL service. Nice mezzes for her, and they were kind enough to change a few items from fried to grilled for me. Everything was done well. Service was friendly and prompt. A courtesy dessert buffet and added bonus. Good place. With a slightly warmer weather, would have loved the open windows/ patio with a sunset breeze.Sorry, no fish pictures... fat boy was hungry!

Read about the restaurant on tripadvisor and thought we'd give it a go, we were not disappointed. The restaurant was empty when we arrived and had a choice of any table. The courtyard was lovely and very quaint. The menu is quite small but the food was lovely, also the best gin and tonic we'd had during our stay.

My favourite swimming and sunbathing venue out with the hotel. Situated a few miles from Kyrenia and situated adjacent to a large beach side restaurant this relatively small platform has a bar/cage great sunbeds and parasol and a very safe swimming cove.

We enjoyed a very pleasant meal over looking the harbour and the castle. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was good with very good portions. We expected the cost to be higher sitting on the harbour but were pleasantly surprised. A complementary coffee and drink offered at the end of the meal.

The host is very kind and the food is fine. However, it is NOT the best fish restaurant in Kyrenia definitely, as rated here. Comparing to the other restaurants, the prices are pretty high. You can find the same dish for almost the half price somewhere else.Esteemed guest, I agree with you about the pirce. but there is a detail. the price is proportional to the quality of the products. 50 tl. per person you can dine with. But never octopus , cutlle fish, fishballs, white grouper shish, amberjack shish, ocean seabass grilled, green salad and a bottle of sauvignon blanc wine per person can not eat at that price .if yo eat , you threaten your health. therefore, we are very peaceful, always offering you quality, delicious and healthy seafood. is the best when a restaurant is cheap? he had many guests coming to us saying that he should escape from cheap restaurants without poisoning. my wife and me will continue to make delicious and reasonable price meals in the style of home cusine , so we are here for you.
