A very good place to have some seafood for a very reasonable price. We were there on a quiet night and had a very nice meal. The staff in this family run restaurant is very friendly. So give it a try when you are in Barletta.

Went on a Monday for lunch, and we let the owners put together a tasting menu. We ate for 3 hrs. The meal was all seafood based, and it was outstanding. Antipasti lasted almost an hour, two pasta dishes, an order of raw seafood, an order of grilled seafood and dessert. Service was outstanding. Location is a bit difficult to find. Definitely give this place a try. You will love it.

Perfect pizza (!), great Pugliese appetizers and the best pasta we have ever tried with such kind of souce. It was orecchiette with porcini, trufles (as far as I understood) in a white souce (cream?) - this pasta is a must-eat in that place (if you are lucky to get it...). Just ask what is in primi menu. The tourist set is very large, in a resonable price. It is the portion for the gourmets (not like it happens some time that the restaurants serve the tourists the cheapest fast food like chips and the cheapest pizza or chicken and take a fortune - not in this restaurant...). The staff is extremely friendly, proffesional and helpful. Prices are really fair for such a great quality of meal. The interior is so beautiful, makes the atmosphere unique. Lovely old-style pictures on the wall. We have to come back one day to this magnificent place. Grazie mille, Franco!

We were invited to his restaurant for lunch and had a great culinary experience in a quasi-classical ambiance. The kitchen turns regional ingredients into modern, well-presented dishes, with a superior taste. We enjoyed small fried fishes and pumpkin flowers for starters and a charming seafood pasta. The local rose wine was superb and the service was professional and cordial.

It is based in the middle of the historic center of Barletta, an enchanting land, suspended between nature, history, spirituality but most of all traditional and tastefull food. It is the right combination of ancient local traditions and innovative ideas,
I come to Barletta very often as my wife is from here and we bring our new born daughter to see her grandparents.Me and my UK family were looking around for menuâs in English and could not find one until i found this place. What a little gem it is too the service and food are both excellent and god damn amazing! It was that nice i booked a table of 10 for the Sunday and took the Italian side of the family too!!Between us all i think we may have had nearly every dish in a 2 week stay.I would recommend this place to any one who asks for either fish or meat dishes. It has only been open for a couple of months but i am sure by this time next year there will be a waiting list to eat here. Also bit of a nice and special touch if you ask the chef to see the days fish he will bring it out for you to see.Been twice this holiday and i am sure will be back with my in laws over christmas or new year on our next trip over!Thank you so much to all the staff here who were so helpful and even went out and got us some tonic water for my little sister! If i could have one thing to say is that there should be a sign out the front to ring the bell to enter as some people may read the menu and walk away thinking you may be closed.

Good quality for price food, fish absolutely fresh, I have been eating in Kaori either in and take away and always been satisfied. Shame thou the sushi is also "fusion" so if you are looking for pure sushi you have to specify " no mayo please", " no fried sushi please, and no balsamic vinegar as decoration". That's why I didn't give this place the full score. It's worth a visit and more anyway.

Il posticino is a cosy elegant restaurant that offered us a much needed cool shelter from a sweltering day in June. We chose the place for the name mainly and because it offered a fish based menu. Little did we know we would be in for a treat of our senses! The young chef Antonio creates little masterpieces in presentation one is almost sorry to eat until the food hits your palate and you realize heaven does exists after all.Little morsels of delight with unusual combinations of flavours keep you in awe dish after dish throughout the starters. The dessert provide another incredible experience. The home made limoncello is a must too, never tried anything like it! Exquisitely and impeccably mannered waiter. Excellent quality/price ratio.A must if you are in Barletta.Thank you so much!!

My wife and I had lunch at this great restaurant after spending the morning walking around very interesting Barletta. We each had two different courses. My wife had probably the best octopus she has ever tasted. I had a great seafood ravioli. The local wines went perfectly with the food. Service was top notch. This is a very classy, traditional Italian restaurant.

If you visit Barletta, or even if you are in Puglia at all, do not miss the chance to eat at Fish Land. Brothers Pasquale in front of house and Stephano, the chef, run one of the best restaurants we have ever tried. We had our anniversary dinner there. We were welcomed like long lost family and served a truly delightful meal. We would be regular customers if we did not have to travel there from Scotland.

A cozy, quiet fish restaurant in the center of the Barletta. Pleasant, attentive service. The interior, executed with taste. A good fish menu, prepared according to the wishes of visitors. A large wine list. Reasonable prices. Popular with local residents. I recommend to all those who by fate, was in this town.
