Arrived just about 7 in the evening, asked for English language as my Italian is poor. Been pointed the worst table by the cook! Asked for drinks, my beer was off so asked the front of house staff who arrived by then to replace it, what she did, but the cool was moaning about it behind the bar! Food was ok, as we were starving, but with a service like this do not really wanted to stay. One positive thing was the nice picture on the way to the toilette!Dear customer, your review perplexed us. The only thing we're able to recognize is the portrait you've published, which represents a vintage print. For the rest, every single word you've wrote doesn't match with our customs. Since 1987, we have a dedicated English menù and every single person of the staff can speak English fluently. We strongly believe in the importance of hospitality, especially when our customers come from abroad. The large staff you were talking about in the review doesn't match with the staff actually at the service of our customers and the service we offer to our customers is definitely different from what the other reviews say about us.What does it mean you were the worst table in the restaurant? If you came to visit us in one of our crowded evenings, without any booking, you probably took a sit in the one of the last available tables. You've said you can't speak Italian fluently and that you can only express yourself in Enlish but you've firmly confirmed that your request (an other beer) have been received in a bad way from the guy assigned at the bar service. Have you thought about the fact that the possible (but not certain) displeasure of that guy wasn't connected to your request? It could have been connected to the made mistake; or it could have been connected to something else (especially if, as I was saying before, you came to visit us in a crowded service). Looking at your Trip Advisor profile, I can see you gave excellent reviews to a lot of other restaurantes and places: we seem to be the worst one ever. You came to visit in July 2015: why have you decided to review us just now, 2 months later? Apart from this, the only thing we can say is that we're really sorry for what you think it's happened and we're even more sorry to read a review like this.Cordially,Emilio&Laura

I'm once in a month on the way form Italy to France through the Frejus tunnel since 10 years.I stopped eating sad panini in Autogrill as soon as I discovered this Pizzeria. Pizza Margherita is a cheap classic (I usually eat two of them), but there's a really long list for any taste. Don't forget to try typical napolitan sweets as the sfogliatella. Be careful it can be very crowded and noisy on friday and saturday night, with loud music.

I have eaten at this restaurant / pizzeria on literally tens of occasions and have always found the quality of the food to be excellent â whether it's the full works (antipasto + primo + secondo etc. etc.) or just a 'pizza and a pint'.The cuisine has a southern Italian flavour, and is noted locally for the variety and quality of its fish and seafood dishes. However, I have eaten meat dishes here on many occasions and have never been disappointed; and nor have I been with any pasta dish I have ever been served here. The pizzas here are excellent, with a wide choice of toppings â and as you would expect are baked in a wood-fired oven. The wine list is very good and offers very good value: They have very inexpensive house wines; a decent selection of good and 'fine' Piedmont wines as well as an interesting selection of regional, often southern wines. I have never been disappointed with the wine served here and have never thought that I've overpaid in any way.The chef's / pizzzaolo's 'specials' are usually excellent quality and relatively inexpensive, but even going á la carte in my experience always represents good value. The staff are hard working, polite and attentive, and will serve you quickly. If you don't wish to be rushed you just have to let them know and they will always comply. The boss works hardest of all is and is very professional and courteous. There are a couple of downsides: Like the majority of restaurants in Italy, this restaurant is rather brightly lit and can get rather noisy. This is also true of the 'couples' annexe' â a room which presumably has been designed for a more romantic dining atmosphere. The restaurant is situated next to and industrial area and is in a nondescript shopping mall. In the summer they put tables out in the mall itself. The restaurant is a stone's throw from the Avigliana Est motorway exit and has ample parking.Highly recommended.

Era da anni che non tornavo in questo ristorante! Posso garantire che la qualità è sempre al top. Prezzo giusto per la qualità del cibo! Ci tornerò prestissimo! Lo consiglio

Restaurant located in a medieval castle close to Turin.
This place is in Sant'Ambrogio, just uphill from the church of San Giovanni Vincenzo, near the beginning of the gravel-and-cobblestone hiking path called the Mulattiera that winds steeply up to the Sacra di San Michele. But as far as we could tell there were no signs for the restaurant, which is housed in the repurposed ruins of an ancient building (an abbey? a castle? we couldn't tell either). The interior decor is a very tasteful minimalist chic. The food was modern upscale italian and was excellent. And the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food -- although we were there for lunch, so the dinner menu is probably more expensive. Service was friendly, unobtrusive, and unhurried -- in short, also excellent. We were there during winter, but during warmer weather the restaurant opens an outdoor bar and tables on several terraces and balconies with great views of Sant'Ambrogio and the Susa Valley. This place is truly a hidden gem in all senses of the word. And if you can find it, then you are truly a gourmand and a cognoscenti -- perhaps even a member of the Illuminati !

This is a great family restaurant tucked away on the main road of Avigliana. It is run by a husband and wife team who are extremely friendly. The food is excellent but there is sometimes a bit of a wait as dishes are prepared upstairs and brought down stairs. The pizza's and the sea food are amazing. It is also good value for money. You will find many of the locals having dinner in this restaurant.

It was very late, dinnertime, during the Autumn Fair, we were immediately served, a fixed menu based on Sicilian foods and we chose the normal menu. A very good meal for us 4, with a touch of something "different", not the usual agnolotti! Pleasant, friendly service The trattoria is spacious, on two floors, clean bathrooms and a small space in front. Pizza served as well, we chose a very good fish menu. Prices in the normal. To be revisited! The trattoria is situated on the main-road outside the lovely medioval town of Avigliana, 20 minutes from the Sacra Saint Michele
