This welcome watering-hole is half-way along the Fanari coastal road from Argostoli to Lassi. The road offers flat walking of about 5 kms and this bar/restaurant at Katavothes offers a nice spot to take a break and tour of this site, where an extraordinary geological phenomenon occurs, the sea vanishes! Where it reappears is for you to find out!

Great food and friendly staff. Orange juice was freshly made and all at a good price. Huge portions!

After a promising start to the meal with a beautiful setting and grilled octopus it went down from there being served clearly frozen crab croquettes the following supposedly main course dish of steamed mussels was a disgrace consisting of 8 New Zealand green lipped mussels sitting in soup of lemon juice and uncooked garlic. Not an experience I would want to have again

Everything was perfect, service is great, fast and they are really nice. We had cooked squid and homemade sausages as a main and grilled cheese with honey and sesame as a starter. Rose is really good as well. Wouldn!'t say that the category cheat eats fits this place, it is moderately priced but worth it:)

We called in just before lunch on Tuesday, restaurant was pretty quiet. We found a lovely table on the harbour side, tried to attract attention of the waiter who was just not interested in the customers, I would go as far as to say that he was hiding & didnât want to serve anyone. Two other couples left without buying anything & we followed after 15 minute wait to no avail.Take your â¬âs elsewhere!

I looked up places while staying in Argostoli, and this wonderful restaurant with great reviews came up. I stopped by for lunch twice. It was crowded the first day but I was able to find a table right away and was treated like I was the only customer there. I ordered Greek salad , and saginaki with honey . For my main meal , I ordered the red mullet which was absolutely delicious . I returned the following day for lunch and had saginaki and lamb with red wine sauce . Also had Baklava with ive cream for dessert and Robola wine. Again delicious food, welcoming atmosphere and outstanding service . I would go back again if I wasnât leaving for my next destination . Check this place out !!

Lovely place, staff very friendly. I had the snapper which came with potatoes, cous cous and vegetables which was a nice change from chips. Good sized portion but not too much. Overlooks the main street which is nice. They bring you bread, but we didn't want this so they took away, no problem. A nice surprise was a little ice cream and shot complimentary at the end of the meal. All staff were rushing about- you can tell that they work so hard. Thank you for a lovely meal. I'm sure we'll come back if we hopefully come back to Lassi again!

After reading great reviews, we decided to try. A party of 4 adults and 2 kids. Drinks were served quickly and our order taken........wait......wait....eventually after 90 minutes our very mediocre food arrived. We ate and left. Never again. Much better restaurants in Lassi

After our first meal in 2017 which we couldnât fault.... they served the best fillet steak Iâve had. It came in at 80 euros. Yes very expensive. But for two and the quality of food that was ok.Fast forward 2018, very poor. Service not the same. Food was not a patch on the previous year. Things may have changed in 2019. But we decided not to spend our money there.Dear,pmcqueen66 we understand that mistakes are human and that when they are not intentionally made they are forgiven. So it's a mistake to take your comments for us after reading it carefully, and concluding that you are referring to another restaurant. And you wrote a review that does not represent usBecause we've never had a fillet in our menu, our most expensive dish is the grill tuna, which costs 18 euros, and the service girls are the same from 2016 (thankfully for us). And the kitchen manager is the same thing from 2009 You might be confused with another restaurant we hope to find out soon ...
