Mostly my wife and I are going to several restaurants, but not this vacation in Arenzano. We went every evening to the same restaurant. Boring???? not at all!!!. First the (hot)spot of the restaurant on the boulevard with a very nice view on the Mediterranean and Genoa as well. And last but certainly not least the delicious food. It's a South-American restaurant (perfect meat) with almost all Italian specialties like pasta and fish. I recommend Terraefuoco, just try it!!!!

I had an early dinner without reservation, which is absolutely necessary. Easy going service and good food. As a starter I had a mix of vegetable tarts and as a first course a "Tris di primi". I was lucky as I could taste the typical trofiette al pesto, the pansoti alla salsa di noci and the picagge with mushroom souce. All was very good. The ambiente is very cosy and colourful and I was sitting just close the kitchen and could see how the preparation was taking place. Nice.

The restaurant up the mountain ouitside town is worth the trip! They have spent a lot of effort in creating a park-like atmosphere with pool and bar just outside the restaurant! The food was great and make note that if you want rhe barbeque meny make sure to book in advance!

Now this is different. With most restaurant menus offering starter, primi, and secondi courses, tourists are tempted with large portions of everything. Here there's no written menu - basically they tell you what you're getting and the starter and primi are of manageable proportions, with a explanation of the choice of main course fish (whatever they caught that day). A half litre of wine for 5 Euro, and the 3 course menu is still only 30 Euro each. Service seemed a bit slow at times, but we didn't expect to rush. We only ate there the once during our stay in Arenzano (having to reserve in advance) but, now we know how it works, it would be well worth a return visit, and should be a must for anyone staying in the town.

I came here after looking for restaurants on tripadvisor and was not disappointed. We started with the Pizza Quattro Formaggia Bianco and on our first bite, we knew we were in for a treat. The pizza was perfectly light with a toasty crust and the four cheeses were liberally draped on and grilled to a perfectly gooey mess with hints of blue cheese flavour (probably from the gorgonzola). The seafood risotto (24 euros for two) was wonderfully put together and absolutely chock full of seafood flavour - far and away the best and heartiest dish of seafood risotto I had ever tried! We finished with the grilled squid and an insalata caprese - the squid was smokey and roasted but the insides were still juicy - the chef has a fantastic touch with the grill. What a wonderful meal!

A cozy little place where you can taste typical products of fish, at a very affordable price to all. Youthful, open every day from Tuesday to Sunday.
friggitoria carlito is a little restaurant, with only a few tables, the forniture are simple. the people are very kind, the reggae music is nice. you can find very good fish of liguria, of course only fried, every is fried, the vegetables, the fish...the prices are reasonable. the only defect are the portions, very little.

The PapuPaio restaurant is located inside the port of Arenzano (GE), a small but cozy and typical port that reflects our local. The idea of ââPapuPaio comes from a group of friends with a great desire to get involved. We are young, willing and determined.
We really loved the diner! Food was great and innovatie (tartare of gamba was really tastefull). The service was good, father and son were friendly and helpfull. Price was very reasonable and quality of food was high.

It is small and offers a not very large - although adequate - menu, with picks from meat to fish and entrees. Dishes are generally well served, with abundant entrees. Service is quick and understanding, even supportive. Here I had the best fried squids in town (not greasy, tasty and crusty enough), a beautiful mussel soutée and a dessert. Prices are in line with the city benchmark (about 30 EUR/pax to eat and drink).
